introduced herself as "calling from Verizon" and wants to save us money on our local lines. when I asked from Verizon or a partner then she admitted we are gold partner of Verizon. I said no thank you and hangup. I called back the number and message say "Master Telecom" your authorized Verizon dealer.

Masters Telecom*** and they are a PLATINUM PARTNER OF VERIZON. They are calling to renew your contract for a better rate.

All they will do is tack some extra charge onto your bill.  It is a scam, do not fall for it.

Called. Left no message.

Said it was Skyler from Verizon & wanted to talk the person in charge of the Verizon account.  So I googled, & ended up here so these reports pretty much nail what I thought it was, a scam call.  I put them into voicemail anyway, they'll either leave a message or they won't, either way I'd never put them thru to a real person.
