Received a call from this number on my wife's cell phone.  The call referenced another person's name and said he was Omar Smith calling to serve legal action against the individual they named.  Said to call 855-977-2128

Happened to me also....scam...do you live in Alaska per chance?

Said that they were a collection agency for a old payday loan.  They put me on hold and came back with what they said were Arrest Docket Numbers for me.  I told them I looked up this number and it says FRAUD all over the internet and that I was  former Prosecutor in Major Narcotics Investigations and that I am reporting them.  SHe started screaming at me and then hung up.  Do not cooperate with them.  This appears to be some sort of fraud ring.

Im an ex-employee of theirs. Collection agency called Prizm Debt Solutions. They have no legal documents on anything. They are scum. Report them to the BBB website for unlawful collection practices if they call. We all use an alias to circumvent the law an they are fully aware of that. I apologize for anyone I personally called.

This company call my phone every morning around 6:15 am looking for a Raquel Daniels. I have told these idiots they have the wrong number no one by the name. So today some crazy sounding lady says she going to this persons home with a federal officer to serve said person with documents and to have all dogs put up!! I just hung up and will be contacting the babb plus my number is on the do not call list! I personally have never done business with these people and the harassing calls for a different person needs to stop!

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the nation's consumer protection agency, is warning consumers to be on the alert for scam artists posing as debt collectors. It may be hard to tell the difference between a legitimate debt collector and a fake one. Sometimes a fake collector may even have some of your personal information, like a bank account number. A caller may be a fake debt collector if he:

•is seeking payment on a debt for a loan you do not recognize;
•refuses to give you a mailing address or phone number;
•asks you for personal financial or sensitive information; or
•exerts high pressure to try to scare you into paying, such as threatening to have you arrested or to report you to a law enforcement agency.

If you think that a caller may be a fake debt collector:

•Ask the caller for his name, company, street address, and telephone number. Tell the caller that you refuse to discuss any debt until you get a written "validation notice." The notice must include the amount of the debt, the name of the creditor you owe, and your rights under the federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
If a caller refuses to give you all of this information, do not pay! Paying a fake debt collector will not always make them go away. They may make up another debt to try to get more money from you.

•Stop speaking with the caller. If you have the caller's address, send a letter demanding that the caller stop contacting you, and keep a copy for your files. By law, real debt collectors must stop calling you if you ask them to in writing.

•Do not give the caller personal financial or other sensitive information. Never give out or confirm personal financial or other sensitive information like your bank account, credit card, or Social Security number unless you know whom you're dealing with. Scam artists, like fake debt collectors, can use your information to commit identity theft – charging your existing credit cards, opening new credit card, checking, or savings accounts, writing fraudulent checks, or taking out loans in your name.

•Contact your creditor. If the debt is legitimate – but you think the collector may not be – contact your creditor about the calls. Share the information you have about the suspicious calls and find out who, if anyone, the creditor has authorized to collect the debt.

•Report the call. Contact the FTC and your state Attorney General's office with information about suspicious callers. Many states have their own debt collection laws in addition to the federal FDCPA. Your Attorney General's office can help you determine your rights under your state's law.

Called my work yesterday threatened me ,told,.me if i did pay a loan from,2 years ago an officer was on his way to my work . They even,went as far as acting like a officer on the phone with me. Im not even familiar with the loan amount or company they were talking about.

This person just called me transferred me to someone else who then THREATENED to embarrass me in front of my place of business with a uniformed officer - told me that I didn't know the severity of the situation. Advised me that this officer was on their way to my home or place of work (within the hour- but couldn't tell me where they were going). I asked for the number in which she replied, "What are you going to do about this?". I asked again and she gave it - but quickly went on to tell me that I need to make arrangements right now or she would just send the officer immediately. After arguing with her - because I just hate women who think they have the right to treat other women in the way that she did - I hung up. This is the second time in the past couple of years that this has happened. Funny thing - it was already taken care of over 4 years ago! Do NOT give them anything and to save yourself some stress - just hang up!

This company is totally a scam..I fell for it and they did get some money from me..and I have reported them and made a fraud and extortion complaint towards them!! I am also getting my money back. These scumbags will not tell u a company name or give u their address...just hang up on them and tell them to not call you again!! Save yourself the hassel!!

"Venessa" left me a message stating she was from the State Officials Office to enforce a State of Bodies attachment, and  that a police officer would be either at my place of employment or at home.  I've seen nothing.

Maria Ortiz called me saying that they would have an officer come to my house or place of employment. They called my work cell phone & my personal cell phone. They didn't leave a message on my personal phone.

I did have a payday loan over 3 years ago, I have paid it back & have documentation to prove it. I am sick & tired of these scammers trying to get more money. Really, really wish the government, FTC, FBI, or some body of law enforcement could get rid of these people.

Ashley Simmons called from the States officials office with a State of Bodies attachment, and stated that a police officer would be either at my place of employment or at home.  I have no payday loans

"Ashley Simmons" (or whatever her real name is) is a LIAR!!  You are NOT warned if you are to receive a summons.  This is a SCAM to extort money from you.

It is a SCAM!! The called me and Sai the same things..they were on their way to my work or home with a uniformed officer to enforce a body attachment blah blah blah..I researched the phone number and found out they are a "phantom" debt collector...Maria Ortiz yelled at me and hung up when I asked for a validation of debt letter sent to me via the U.S mail...any real company knows the federal law states they have 5 days to mail you this letter after they contact u if u request it...Maria offered to email it to me and I told her it needs to be through the mail..she got mad and hung up...you won't go to jail..you won't be served any papers..these people are idiots..when they call just blow a loud whistle in their ear until they stop calling you..buy whatever u do..do NOT pay them a dime or verify any information they have of yours!!

Maria Ortiz is an idiot..if that's even her real name...I'm so sick of that woman leaving me voicemails and going to come to my work with a uniformed officer to enforce a body attachment..she gets mad and yells at you when you question her about stuff though..she just hung up on me...these people need to get a life and a real job..I hope they all go to prison for fraud..harassment and extortion

If they continue to bother you, tell them that you know this is  a debt scam and that you are making a complaint to the police for extortion.  Once you get a copy of the police report and they call you again , just read out the  file number and the name of the PD or Sheriff’s office involved.   Tell them you’ll be glad to send a copy to them at whatever address the [***] are working out of now.
