Passport Canada?  Why would they have a number in the states I thought they were in Gatineau?

Yes, it was Passport Canada, but a truly terrible connection, with the information all jumbled.  I finally realized that she was likely making these calls all day and was mentally exhausted.

Got a call - no message left.  Called back, got Canada Passport/Service Canada auto-message.  Called up the phone number on their main website and got through - turns out Passport Canada DID call about my son's application.  Verified.

I was passport canada, thought the were some kind of scammers.
