Keep getting calls from this number looking for a J. Wyman.  We have only had this number for 2 weeks and have received at least 20 calls.  It is from a collection agency and when I try to call back and have them remove my number the message box is full.

I am also getting phone calls from this number looking for someone named Pollard.(not my name)  This collection agency is obviously on a fishing expedition.  I've had my phone number for two years and I don't know anyone named Pollard.  I'm tired of the calls

This is a fishing expedition by these people, whatever you do don't give them any information at all. They will ask you for your social security number and address and other information to get your credit profile and set you up for I.D. theft.

Call using all different types of numbers.  Leave messages some times and claim it's a "personal business matter".  I don't owe them or anyone any money and they call the office.  I am a dispatcher and other people answer this line.  How can I get them to stop????? I thought that it was illegal to call a place of business.  My boss is irritated and has tried to speak to them but they wont talk to him as he is not the person they are trying to contact. HELP.

What is their Address???  They keep calling our New home phone for someone we never heard of, that I'm guessing used to have our phone#. Already contacted FTC to report, and local Police for docut#, as well as ATT Annoyance call. Other than changing our phone# and having this prob on another New phone #. What is their REAL ADDRESS??   FTC says we need to send Cease & desist letter, but we NEED Address! Thx

I have been contacted by this number...always during work hours and on my cell phone.  I have asked them to stop calling on my cell...but they call...faithfully, every single day!! Apparently, they have an old collection account of mine that is valid.  However, they will not stop calling my cell phone until this old collection account is paid in full.  I would like something from them, in writing, to address the account with clarity.  The calls keep coming!  
The name fits their collection practices..."ARM" as in swisting it until its paid in full!! #need.paperwork

We have no debt and no problems, except for people who violate our phone line.

The call gives the opportunity to press 1 if your are the person or 2 if you are not the person so they will not call again.

Be warned pressing 2 does not stop these harassing calls.

It is time to start complaining to the state attorney general in NJ, the state attorney general in your state and the Federal Trade Commission.

The harassing calls will stop when citizens make it hot for this abusive company.

Check the debt collection law - probably easy access to government web page you can find with Google

The law used to be that if you tell them to contact you in writing they have to contact you that way and not call your your family or neighbors.

Serious penalties for them if they violate your instruction not to call.

You may have to notify them with a certified letter, return receipt requested to make it stick.

But it might be worth it.
