Received call, left no message. Call from an unknown New Jersey #.

Person said he was the police

I also got the call and the person said that he is a NJ cop.

No name came up. Didn't know the number.  Didn't answer.  They didn't leave a message.  Obviously it wasn't that important.

Scam call claiming raising money for police. Hang up. Not the police.

Caller said he was raising money for police.  I asked if he was a  police officer.  He told me he was just an interested citizen.  I asked if he was a fund raiser .  He said no and that all the money went to help police officers or to buy much needed equipment.  I told him to send me information that I would not make a pledge on the phone.  He said I asked too many questions and probably was not interested.  Then he hung up.

I received the call at 7:15 pm last night and I just called it back, only to hear that's it's disconnected. I thought it was a Google voice number.

i got a call from this number, 1st off knew my name and its not on the bill. 2nd said for the pba.. is facebook selling #'s now???

they get your info when someone in your house hold has a run in with the law (driving tixs and DUI)

Landline call. Caller ID: Millville, NJ; Did not answer and no message was left.  Good sign of a scam. I would bet this is a "spoofed" number and if you called it would be non-operative. That way you can't trace the scammer.

I blocked this # 2 months ago, it rang once, but my wife pick it up because she does not want to wake us up ( 9:30 am , Saturday ).  This time they claimed they are firefighters looking for donation.

Caller says raising money for firefighters to help burned children.

I just got the same call. Sounded fishy to me...
