Free cruise to the Bahamas again. Lame attempt to get around DNC list by claiming to be a survey.

Called twice in two minutes, Left no message. (hopefully they'll sell the guy above a new keyboard.)

I don't know who this is bit they have called several times in the past month

Calls my cell phone which is on the Federal do not call registry. Costs me money to answer.

It was a robot/recording asking three questions regarding health insurance, following the questions it offered a cruise for two.
5 minutes later another number called (978)969-8777, I didn't answer.

Am on do-not-call registry (have been for years), three days after I renewed, I get a robocall from these folks, starts with claim I'd "won" a cruise. Possibly they are calling new adds to the do not call list in the first 31 days?

I too am on the do not call list and they called my cell...costs me money too.  With caller ID I just don't answer the phone!

The DO Not call list does not stop these people from calling. Legitimate companies pay for the list and enforce the idea that their sales/marketing people cannot call people on the list. THere are fines for calling people which increase with each violation. I worked for a company that had a system for blocking outgoing calls to people on the DO not Call list and if you managed to bypass the system and someone complained and the company was fined, the offending employee had to pay the fine. However, unless people complain to the FTC  (877-382-4357) or to the do not call registry (https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx) these companies will keep calling. So #1 do not answer the phone and use the blocking function on your phone or through your cell phone carrier and # 2 stop complaining on these boards and complain to the people who can actually do something to stop these nuisance calls

Received a call from this #.  Caller ID: wireless caller.  No message left.  Am on the DNC list.

Called as we were trying to get baby to sleep. Then hung up.

Caller says I won a free cruise to the Bahamas...  gimmick  I hung up

"Congratulations! You've won a free..."- click.

Called this morning while my wife - up sick all night - was trying to sleep. Even though I did not pick up, the answering machine did, so their call still got through. I must now block the number. I don't understand these companies. It would seem to me that such calls make far more enemies than new customers!

They try to skirt the DNC with a "survey"

If you take them up on the "free" cruise, you will have to pay port fees, and be subjected to a lengthy time share spiel.  A manager will try to upsell you on amenities available on the ship.

I just received a call from that number.  I did not answer as it was no one I knew. No message left

Just got it too. No message.

I too just received a call from this number.  Only reason I answered, I was about to make a call and it came through while I was trying to start contacting who I really I wanted to speak to.  When I realized it was some bogus nonsense, I hung up, and put them on my reject list.  

I called this number back and got a recording for "Verizon Wireless Center". Dec 18, 2014 at 11:09 p.m.
