Yes on two campaign - Massachusetts expansion of bottle bill to include other litter type containers besides soda and beer.

Called, I answered, they asked for someone named Jason with my last name, told them nobody at that number with that name, said okay, call ended.

Called tonight at dinnertime (of course).  Let it go to ans. machine; no message left.  No info, other than number, on Caller ID.  Since this is likely a BOSTON TELEMARKETER, working FOR HIRE for a political cause, this number will be BLOCKED from further calls.

Called, when I picked up, no answer.  

Same here. No one on the line when I answered.

Answered, just crickets on the other end. Curious, I called back and got a recorded message, saying it was the "No on Question 2" campaign. The question that wants to increase taxes on the public by charging deposits on all drink bottles, saying it's the only way to keep our parks and streets clear of debris. Only in Massachusetts!

If people don't have a clue about recyclng, charging them a nickel at the grocery store isn't going to change a thing. This is a clear tax (they assume a high % won't bother bringing their bottles back), cloaked as a do-good program. Their latest commercial - 'don't be fooled by the big bottling companies' is atrocious. We have curbside recycling - *that's* the way to keep streets and parks clean.

Political call. Bottle bill crap. There's curbside recycling so this B.S. is just another way to levy a tax on the unreturned deposits.
