Received a call from 857-273-1140 this morning. The caller ID said, Boston, MA.  857 is NOT a Boston, MA area code. I knew right away it had to be another scam or marketing call.  Did not leave a message. I NEVER answer a phone call unless I can determine who is calling.  My family and friends have my private tel no.  There are many scams now trying to scam you out of money for Napal.  These scammers call and also go on Face Book to get your money.  The money is going in their pockets and not
for victims of Napal.  Never give money or acct. nos over the telephone!

Received call Wednesday morning. Did not recognize the number and did not answer (DNA). 857 is a Boston area code since May 2001 although as above I did not recognize it either.

857 is a Boston area code you idiot. You live in Boston and you didnt know that? You need to get out more. Jon

I called back and got a recording that "All Operators Are Busy" and press 1 to be added to the "Do Not Call List". I did NOT press 1 and then the recording said, "You have successfully been added to the do not call list".

857 has been a Boston area code for at least 10 years now...

Call said it was for Google+ yatta yatta. Stuck on the line to talk to someone, ultimately was hung up on once I asked the name of the company.

Got a call from this number just now.  Didn't answer.  Voicemail left said it was from google plus specialist, looking for the "business owner or person in charge of marketing".  Junk.

WORMS...don't bother answering.

I as well attempted to talk to the "representative" - Byrce in my case.  I also asked what company he was calling from, as he was breaking the law by calling me (Im on the useless Federal Do Not Call Registry ) and that I planned to file a complaint.  Let's just say Mr. Bryce's response was to curse me out -- call me a [***] -- and worse -- and told me I was the one being abusive.  Right ... Ended up hanging up on me while still calling me names.  I did call the number back and got the all operators are busy message and then was told my number had been removed.  Would be interested in knowing what company this is as they called my private number about a "business" related call -- so would love to know if it was robo or they had my private number.

Received a recorded message from “my local certified google listing rep” (or something like that) ... who wants to, no doubt, sell me some web listing thingy that ain’t gonna work...   I hung up part way through the call...  I imagine there would be an option at the end of the message to speak to someone trying to hustle to make a buck.

I just got a call from this number, I didn't pick up, but they also didn't leave a message.  They have called twice, and they have not left a message either time.  Probably a scammer.

Maybe uncouth, but on the other hand it is very frustrating to see someone boldly state that 857 is not a Boston-area area code, when it most certainly is. To have someone spout such nonsense only serves to confuse others; the only way to undo the damage is to sharply rebuke them in a followup.
