what is this number 858-428-3225? I never answer it, but have gotten a call everyday for the past week around the same time.

this number is from DirectTV satellite. I recently applied for service but got non-stop [***] sales pitches from them so I told them to take their dish and shove it; this only prompted them to call again and again. Same [***] - "Sir, I've never seen this in my life, but you've just qualified... Sir, the computer has selected you to a great deal..." etc.

i scheduled a directtv acct/installation but subsequently canceled.

in following weeks had same problem where i was receiving a daily call from this number with no answer on the other end.  found this thread connecting the mystery number to directtv and subsequently called directtv and requested that i be put on their "do not call list."  

the calls have ceased.

Signed up for Direct TV; realized I wasn't getting a good deal within minutes of processing the order and subsequently cancelled the service request.  Now I am receiving multiple calls from this number.  Oh well, just won't answer now that I know who it is.

I received a call but no one answered.  if it is direct TV I canceled my order the day after I called them. I listened to their sales pitch which kept changing and then the next person on the line wanted to change everything so enough of their BS I will stay where I am at but don't like the service here either

I just received installation yesterday and received a call today from this number. I answered and the rep wanted to verify that I got the "best deal".  I told her that I just got the service yesterday and had not had time to see yet!  She thanked me for joining Direct TV and that was that.........

I sure hope that was the first and last call since others have been getting harrassed by people calling from this number.

We signed up for Direct-TV installation, but decided to cancel because we weren't ready to have it installed at our second home.  My husband had quite a time to get them to accept our cancellation during that call, with them explaining what a great deal we were getting!  Since that call, I have received several calls from this number, but I don't answer it because I don't recognize it.  They never leave a message.  I'm glad I did some research and found this on the internet.  If it continues, I will follow someone else's advice and request that I be put on their "do not call" list.  Thanks for the help!

I just got a call on my cell again.  They NEVER leave a message.  I also was "going" to sign up with Direct Tv weeks ago.  I assumed, like Cox Cable, that they could hook me up without the TV's being in place.  They cannot.  This was on Dec 10.  Since TV's weren't at our new house yet, they said they woudl reschedule for Dec 19, 9 DAYS LATER!  I told them never mind, and had Cox Cable installed the following day.  They still continue to call.  I am soooooooooo glad I decided against Direct TV!
