No message on my voice mail.

Same thing happened to me today 3/13/08.
Who are these people?

Called my cell phone (which I rarely use and almost never give out the number to because it is basically for emergencies only) and asked for my husband.  When I said he was unavailable and asked who was calling, the woman said she would call back later.

I believe it is one of those herolife/work from home people trying to get people to enroll into their so-called business scheme.  I think they are out there trying to take everyone for a ride!!!

I just got a call from this same number on my cell phone. They called back-to-back 3 times and left no voice mail. I kept calling the number back until I got an answer. The woman stated that it was a call center for a home based business opportunity selling diet products!

I just got a call from this number.  I don't bother answering numbers/area codes I'm not familiar with, I just look them up online.

recived a call from this number with no voice mail ,called it back and was asked for the last  4 numbers of my phone number,asked who they where and they hung up

Called my phone .. I called back and there was a bit of static someone answered then hung up. I tried to call them several times after that and their phone line was busy

I got a call from this number earlier, thank goodness I screen my phone calls, I hate spam like this

Listening to crap radio all day (my work carries to many locations...I drive a LOT) I hear the commercials for incomeathome.com.

I go to the site and -- as a lark -- fill in most of the (very) short application.

'What harm can there be?' I thought. All the site forum asks for is a phone number and e-address...I give both.

On page two of the site a 14 day trial package is promised for a shipping fee of 9 plus bucks.

That's enough for me to wipe clean the fields of the form and NOT submit it.

I research a little: the site is a gateway for legit crap but it's all designed to eventually get a schmo like me to cough up 30,000 bucks for -- I guess -- a buy-in to a franchise.

Interesting thing: even though I did NOT submit the form, within 30 minutes my e-box had a mailing from the site and my cell phone had a missed call from 858 625 8228.

The moral: restrain the impulse to do things on a lark...*shrug*

I also went to the site for "incomeathomeusa.com"  and looked it over, and figured why not see what the deal is. I completed the short form that asked for email address.  That was less than 1 hour ago, and I just received a call from 858.625.8228. They left no voicemail, and when I tried calling back, it sounded like someone kept picking up the phone and then hanging up right away.  Called back again and line was busy.

They called, i was in a meeting.  I called back and it was aslways busy

oh so that's who it is! k, makes sense now. I heard the ad on the radio, looked them up, most likely submitted my phone # cause i'm a huge idiot and now am dealing with multiple calls from them! well, learned my lesson.

Yes, incomeathome.com it is, AKA a recruiting marketing tool for Herbalife. Just like Selle, I signed up online to find out more, once you submit you info, they ask you for $9.95 for an intro packet, which I refused to do. If you look at the fine print at the bottom of the page, it says, it is a recruiting marketing tool for Herbalife.

I answered today, a woman said she was calling from "Incomeathome.com" so obviously some kind of publicity for a job to make money from home...

Just another scam.  Don't give these guys your credit card number. Been looking for a year for a legit work from home program of one kind or another that wasn't a scam - haven't found one yet.
