i receive this number. they told me i owe pay day loan and they want my payment. they said they work for american credit service. but i don't think so.

Rapid calls from India claiming I owe money. You can barely understand what they are saying. They talk over you and you really have no idea why they are calling. Does not sound like a collection agency. Be wary. They try to give you American sounding names like Jennifer Anderson or Henry Jones

Received numberous calls from "Henry Jones" who is from India, so I am sure it is fake on 4/15 at home and at work.  Would call every 15 min.  I finally talked to him on 4/16 and I couldn't understand him because it was staticy and breaking up and he didn't care.  He wanted me to confirm who I was with the last 4 digits of SS number and I wouldn't until he told me what this was about.  He wouldn't.  I found out that he can't tell me anything until I confirm.  I as told that if you ask who they are representing you don't have to confirm who you are.  I was told I was to be going to court tomorrow, but news to me...I have no idea what he was talking about.  Not sure if Scam or not.  Phone number I was to call back was 858-777-1977.

yeah, i got three calls from these guys, and i called them back twice. they said i was to appear in court in california one day after the call, i live clear across the country. they gave me a supposed case number concerning a lawsuit filed against me over a payday loan. surprise, einstein, i've never taken out a payday loan. each call was an unorganized mess, two different individuals called and they didn't even know what the other had said to me. they gave me two different case numbers. they didn't even clearly state why they were calling me until i delved into it. then they said," oh, they didn't tell you about the case?" and "oh, they didn't tell you that you have to go to court?" they are scammers because i have never taken out one of these loans and if there was some legitimate legal action; in this country, you have to be notified in writing; you have to be served; of legal action against you. caller id showed 102-855-1013 then 110-285-51013 then 110-285-5101 but the number to call them back was 858-777-1977.

SO pretty much they are scam artists how do they get your personal information? they told me they were from fast cash loan company WTF

Received a message on my voice mail at work on 04/17 from Yuvie Cooper....called the number 848-777-1977.....first talked to a female who obviously did not know English and finally got to good ole' "Yuvie Cooper" who also did not English.....said I owed a place called Fast Cash for a pay day loan....I told him he would hear from my lawyer.....called my lawyer who in turn called "Yuvie".....my lawyer requested they send him proof of the loan which they refused to do and then proceeded to hang up on my lawyer, not once but 3 times.  I had another message waiting for me this morning from "Yuvie" saying the exact same thing....sounds as if he is trying to read it from a script or has it memorized.....I think the fact that a lawyer actually called him back kinda of threw him off...anyway, does anyone out there know who this kind of thing can be reported to?

I don not know who to contact but they have called me several times and this is annoying me because they say they have all my information. Police can not help especially if it is an international thing.

These folks are of indian accent, and they are scam artist, trust and believe they are trying to get money out of you, don't voluteer any information and actually they may only have the last four digits of your SS#, I believe they get this information off the internet where you might have done a payday loan, or brought something on line or what ever. They call you and threat you, but what collection agency you know speaks like that and threatens you, by telling you, your going to be arrested, and they feel sorry for you, these fools don't even know how to do it. Tell them as the other guy Richards66 did you will have your lawyer call them, and watch what happens, they will either hang up or threaten him too, tell them you will be reporting them to the FTC, and actually the number they call on and the number they give you are fradulent numbers, they're called dummie number because it will change from month to month. It's basically international area 858, and I don't even know where 110, 111, come from, Tell these MF stop and let them know that the call is being reported by the FED as we speak, and let them know the number can be tracked exactly where they are no matter where they're location is. They just may hang up on you.  Cuse these fools out. I'm tired of them myself. Good luck, if enough people let them know they are not afraid of them, maybe they will stop.  The law for consumers is protected, even if you may or may not owe, you have the right to have documentation of any and all things, Tell the if its a loan you actually owe they are calling about you want a debt consolidation letter withing 30 days. It details all the amounts owe, and any interest as well as a acutally number to speak with a representative. F--- them, don't be afraid to tell them that. These people call me repeatedly at my work number. They do everything that the above posts mention. I want this stopped, because the calls at my job are monitored and these jerks off scam artists could get me fired. I want to take these people to court.

Any one interested in taking these people down, let me know. Class action law suit!! I want to take this as far as it can go in court.

I have already informed my HR department about this and these people are GOING DOWN . . . .

Yes count me in they keep calling me at work and on my cell phone.  I want this to stop.

I have already found a consumer attorney and am going to try to sue these a**holes. It may be difficult because they are possibly an off shore operation. I don't mind being the Guinea Pig for this. I'll keep everybody posted as to how far I get.

Yes, this is a Scam.  I had to change my bank account information and will report them to the police.  Be very careful.

called and am receiving threatening phone calls at my place of business, filed a complaint with the state attorney general's office and am waiting to hear back from them. this is getting out of hand, they are threatening and won't stop calling my work

Yea, same thing here, with the threatening calls and what not. Except my guys name is Peter f'in Parker. Can you believe it? Spider-Man is middle eastern! I'm glad ya'll posted some info on these guys because I was starting to think I really had a lawsuit against me, lol.

Yep, they're calling me too.  Exactly the same modus operandi as everyone else who's posted here!  My caller is a female claiming to be "Mona Williams", and it's from 858-777-1977. She calls repeatedly, one call right after another.  One time she said she was calling from 213/786-5721 but she leaves the 858 number as a "call back hotline to department". She reads a script about the matter being time sensitive; she needs to hear from me or my attorney, if I don't respond immediately all she can do is wish me well as the "matter unfolds around you".  I got the exact same drill exactly a month ago from a man in the 213 area code.

Thanks for your post.  I just heard from "Max Anderson" for the second time in a week, as he recited word for word the same script he used the first time.  It really does sound like they have some personal information and they are just trying to get the rest to clean you out.  This website is a great service, because I was really starting to wonder.

I too have heard from "Max Anderson"  He has left messages on my house and cell phones.  I actually tried to call back the 858 number and it went to a busy signal after 5 rings.  From everyone's posts, it sounds like these guys have gotten a hold of a database and are just trying to get the rest of our info to clean us out.  Thanks for this website and everyone's posts because next time, i am just going to laugh like hell at them and yell and swear at them until they hang up.

They had the nerve to call me again!  This time it was Paul Walker.  An Indian man named Paul Walker...ha!  I let him have it and told him to never call me again.  I told him I have reported him to the FBI, FTC & the police.  Let them try and call me again.

Tonight I received in less than a half hour at 20 threatening phone call from 2 foreigners demanding money, that I meet them at the courthouse, that they have a lawsuit. The more I hung up the more nasty and violent they became until Dawson Mac threatened to kill me. I have it on tape. He told me then the only thing he could say is god bless me and good luck. My husband has actually has actually contacted phone company and had phone number changed. I  so disgusted with this company and frightened by the fact they actually told me they were going to Kill me. I'm not sure what to do at this point beside contact my attorney in the morning.

I had a similar incident today.  Two calls within two hours from a James something or other that sounded like a very hard to understand Indian person telling me or my attorney to call back ASAP and 'good luck'.  I tried returning the call from the 102-855-1013 that didn't seem to exist and tried to return to the 358-777-1977 but went to busy signal after a few rings.  I looked at this website to find it's fraudulent and called my local FBI office.  They informed me to report it though your local police department so I would recommend doing that.
