- marfa| 20 repliesThis number when called back just gave me a fax sound must be some automated system or some fax machine dialing the wrong number.
- offset| 2 repliesTried to call this # back and just got a fax tone.
- Call type: Fax
- Bill P| 1 replyCall came in at 8.44 am on March 10. The caller ID, FLORENCE,KY, almost certainly means Florence, Kentucky. As cities and towns don't normally use their name and state as their caller ID, I suspect it may me a spoofed ID.
When I see a called ID like that, I never call back. I do what I just did, which was to do a Web search on the number. - Bill P replies to Bill PTwo corrections to my message. "May me" should be "may be," and "called ID" should be "caller ID."
- Marty_g| 1 replyCalls all day, every day! It's a bill collector for one of the Major Credit Cards.
- Call type: Debt collector
- Amy replies to marfaI received a vm msg from this number today. It belongs to AT&T. It's about a past due invoice.
- JEB| 1 replySuspect Citigroup as they call 3-4 times a day. If they were a Debt Collector, they know they can only call once a day. Banks can call you multiple times a day.
- Caller: CitiGroup
- Call type: Debt collector
- CKWhen I call this number back I get a fax tone. How do you make it stop?

- ShamrockGot several calls from this # 1-859-283-8072, it is the credit card company Citi. They call anywhere from 3-6 times a day. They have called over 50 times in a two week time frame, and have only left one voice mail message. They are calling in regards to a past due credit card balance, I assume.
- Caller: Citi

- MistyMo| 1 replyThis number has called me for about two weeks now... 6-10 times a day showing on my missed calls, but when I call back it rings as a fax machine. Has anybody acutally made contact with a live person from this number? How do I contact who is calling me?

- FED UPCalls several times a day. Really irritating especially if the call comes in past 9pm.
- ChuckI got the old Florence, KY call today, too. Got family close so I ALMOST answered it. I've taken to turning off the ringer. I have Vonage, so my VM's are sent to My computer (friends and family have been directed to leave one, and I screen thru my email client for friendly numbers. If it's a friend or family number, My computer dings, and I return the call.
- CitiGroupThis number is Citi Group, even when you do answer it they don't talk. What's the point, just to bug you. I paid them off and they will still call for another few weeks. Credit card companies and Verizon people are about as goofy as they get.
- info replies to hemyrayno a telemarketer its citi calling about your overdue bill
- CatLast few days...I anwered one call thinking it was someone I knew..there was a human voice-said something un-intelligible..I just hung up. Will talk to my carrier about this. Perhaps there's a way to block this number from coming to my phone. Just don't answer...always someone that knows you-will find a way of being in touch...
It's called technology-we take the good with the bad ! - Big Mike replies to MistyMoChances are that the number that called you is from citi bank visa or just citi bank, do you have a credit card or account from them? We answered a call from that number a the call was a machine asking me to hold on for a representative. When the rep. asked to talk to my wife she identified herself from Citibank.
- Confused replies to n3m3s1s| 1 replyI haven't done any business with CitiGroup company, and I still get calls from them. Do you have any idea why that is?
How long did you have to wait to "speak to the next available representative"?
