Do not know who this is but they have called my phone twice in the last two days. No message left or any other calls since.

ME TOO!!! did you call it back?

The number is from Citicards servicing center. I've been getting them too because of a past due bill.

It's Citcards.... I pay each month - and the funny thing is they take their payment straight out of my checking accounting.  And they still CALL....

Calls over and over

This is CitiCards.  Unless you know that your account is delinquent, ANSWER THIS CALL.  I had been ignoring it for a long time, and then finally answered it to tell them to F*** Off, then found out it was a good thing I answered it!  I made a complaint that they need to leave a message so people don't ignore their call, but they think that people just won't call back, assuming it is a collections message, so they just try to get a hold of the person.  In my specific case, I had been on a payment plan with them due to past dilinquency, complied with it, so they were rewarding me by reopening my account for a LOWER interest rate!  Thank goodness they were persistent!

That's the same reason they're calling me too.  But I don't see it as a good thing.  I don't want to reopen my account.  I'm trying to get out of credit card debt, not get farther into debt.  They need to stop calling.

They keep calling me and will not stop

They left a message.

A pre recorded female said "please wait, our rep will be with you shortly"

after 3 times a female said "hello"

then hung up.

THIS IS NOT CITIBANK!!! DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT OR SSN INFORMATION!!

I don't know what to say about the reports above but I've received 3 calls from this number this weekend. When I called the number on my CITI card to ask what this was about, they transfered me to their fraud unit immediately and had to freeze both my accounts. All they would tell me is 1) this is not an authorized CITI caller 2) there is an ongoing fraud investigation.

I know that when you call this number back, it sounds just like the CITI prompts. Crazy.  But trust me, if you've given these folks any of your personal information, please call the number on the back of your CITI card immediately and let them know.

just got called by these people, it was an automated message "please stay on the line, a representative will be with you shortly" and then it hung up. I looked it up on here and found this out! glad I didn't call back. This was on my cellphone too, which was a bit strange.

This is crazy....I don't live in Kentucky but I was there for 3 weeks...if it is not CitiCards then how in the world did a random Fraud get my number. Are they using my location? CitiCards usually calls from an 800 number of sorts.
Glad I never answer calls that aren't saved in my address book.

First call,no message. My son answered the second one & they asked for my husband by name; son asked who's calling & they said it was a "personal matter". He said nope, not available.

I know its not Citibank calling for debt collection, my husband just paid them at Citibank.

Also, we live out West & the call is from Florence, KY.

We have been getting calls from this number for DAYS.  I answered it once and no one was there, so I hung up.  I finally answered it tonight (after just hanging up for several days) and some guy asked for me by name and I lit into him about WHY do you keep calling me and HE hung up.  I'd block the number, but my cell phone won't let me. :( I have a note into the cell company to ask if I can do this on my phone.  I'm sick of this person calling me!  What do we do about this?  I'm on the Do Not Call list.

I have no comments.  It's not worth my time!

I've been getting these calls since February 26th, today is the 1st of March. I answered one, the person said hello and hung up.....called the number back and found it was Citicards but they want your account number..no way

I also have been recieving this call for about a week.  I am glad I have read all of your postings.  I am just going to still not answer the call because it could be fraud.  If they call from my phone number listed on my card I would trust it but I now for sure do not trust the call not to be a possible trap into getting my information.

My caller ID shows this from Florence, Kentucky.  Usually if Citi Card calls they ID themselves on my answering system.  This number starts calling me at 8:30 in the a.m until 9:00 at night and it is not unusual for me to get at least six calls a day from this number.  My Citi account is okay so I'll just continue to ignore the call and put it on my block list............

Got three calls today with no one on the other end. Very annoying and wish I knew who to complain to
