Got a call from this number as well. No message.

Asked me if I was ##########, said yes, they hung up...hum...

g call 5 times in last 2 days. called back wanted last 4 digets of my account. then hung up. don't call!!

Called and said my name ... I said who's calling, hung up

They have called 4 times in the past 19 hours (since 530pm last night) as I don't know the number, I don't answer. Going to block them here soon.

Blocked them.  Assume it's the medic alert scam people.

This number calls at least 4 if not more times a day. I work nights and need them to STOP

This # called my phone at least 6 times in the past 2 days.  I picked up and they immediatly hung up on me, why?  I dont get what they are getting out of annoying people!

Called me 5 times yesterday and already twice this morning. No message.  So glad I can block phone calls now cause I just did!

I have also had 2 calls from this # this morning. The 1st call was automated and said something about Citi Card and I hung up. The 2nd call was a human and asked for me by name and then hung up. I tried to call them back and it says it is Citi Cards. I don't have any credit cards with Citi Card or Citi Bank or anything like that. I'm blocking the #. If it's important they will have my cell #.

The no call list is a failure. It needs better teeth. You can bet if our legislators were getting these calls, something would be done right away. The law should read that they must leave the full name, name of the company and why they are calling.

Exactly how is the DNC list a failure?

Legitimate telemarketers use it to prevent calls to registrants.  Just think - if there were no such list, you would be getting calls from BOTH legitimate and scam "telemarketers".

The DNC list is NOT a call blocker! If you thought it was, you are very much mistaken.

The DNC list does not apply to charities, political calls, surveys, debt collectors or companies with which you did business in the last 18 months.

The DNC list is ignored by spammers and scammers, and those criminals usually use VOIP or burner phones, and cannot be easily traced.  Kristi Thompson of the FCC explained that it can take her anywhere from five to ten subpoenas to trace a single robocall back to its origin

Is there ANY law that is 100% effective in preventing criminals from disobeying it?  If a criminal disobeys a law, is that law a failure?  Will even more laws stop criminals from disobeying them?

The FTC penalizes organizations located in the USA that violate DNC provisions, but only if those organizations are identified!  Have you done your part to identify your callers?

The DNC organization does not sell its list to non-registered telemarketers.

All this information, and more, is available on the DNC site, for those who have the cerebral capacity to read and understand.  Apparently you do not qualify, but prefer to mislabel things that you do not understand.

If you want more protection than provided by the DNC list, get a call blocker app, device, or service, and learn how to use it correctly.  Try a little self-responsibility!

Could be Home Depot or JC Penney credit cards - both are thru Citi Bank

This number calls me more than ten times per day.  Its ridiculous!

The number is for Sears/Citi Cards,  they have been calling here constantly and sometimes leaves a message and this time left a different number (800-7336-1116) for me to call back.  I don't have either Sears or Citi Card credit cards and haven't for years so I called them.   They wanted an account number followed by the # sign, since I didn't have an account I just pushed the # key.  Long story short they were looking for my ex-husband's widow.  We have been divorced for 20 yrs and he's been dead for 10!

Can also be Sears.  They were looking for my ex-husband's widow (we have been divorced for 20 years, he's been dead for 10)
