- Marshall| 1 replyHe said he was from Windows and wanted to help me understand the problems with my computer. He asked me to hold down the windows button and press the R key. I asked him why I should do that, and he said, "If you ask any more questions I will block your computer, then you will see what your problems are." I told him I did not understand what he was trying to do, and he said, "you are an idiot. How can you survive if you don't have a brain? You are an idiot in America." He kept rambling about how I was an idiot, but I hung up at that point.

- Susan replies to RonI got that call yesterday. He had a thick Indian accent with a very American name. When I told him I don't use Windows, I have a Mac, he tried to convince me that it didn't matter, I still have a problem in my operating system. Wow, these people are relentless! Someone said he couldn't tell if it was a prank or scam...it's a scam, and they want your money for nothing.
- Susan replies to MarshallTotal scam, Marshall. I've been getting these calls for over a year. When they tell me I have a problem in my Windows, and I tell them I have a Mac, don't use Windows, they try to then convince me there is a problem in my operating system anyway. Ugh, they never stop, and they want your money. I've reported every one of them to the government, but those calls keep coming.
