Got a call from a male with a foreign accent saying they were from Windows (# csme up as unavailable). He said they were detecting financial transactions on my computer and asked if I was on my computer now. I said no and he told me to get ON and continued to talk as I said, I don't think so, and hung up!

Got a call from this number today.  Spoke to a man with a foreign accent. We said hello to each other. Then he asked me "how are you doing today?" I said "I was doing fine until you called". Then he hung up on me...haha!

This annoying number comes up as 'Unavailable' and keeps calling me. I don't answer it cause it's no one I know.

This is scam run from call centers in India.  The number is a spoofed number as it does not exist.  These people will try to get control of your computer and get your information.  I believe that since many large companies (my present employer included) have outsourced their IT support to India they have learned how to get control of computers remotely and get information from them.  With this knowledge, they have decided to go into "business" for themselves...😈

had them call today wanted me to get on computer said had problems with it they needed to fix . first i shut my computer off then told them if something is wrong i would call HP. called HP they said nothing was wrong and i did the right thing. do not get on computer as they ask they just want your information.

Keeps calling I never pick up and never leaves a message but I can hear something in the back ground when they left one message today.. They call at least once a day if say from  Midway Ky..

I am going to report them to FCC...

Good luck with that, but it won't do even the tiniest bit of good.  The CallerID number is spoofed, so it doesn't even exist and the FCC would have no success attempting to locate them.  This action is being carried out from India and U.S. laws do not apply there.  Even blocking their spoofed number would do no good as they are always changing it.

They called at 12:19 (noon) and 3:03 pm Central time.  They left no message and call is listed "unknown".

I got a  call from 859-846-5238 on January 5, 2016 at 11:30 am.  I did not answer and the caller did not leave a message even though my answering machine was on.  My caller ID said, "Out of area," which almost always means a telemarketing call.  I'm sure they'll call back and I still won't answer.  Maybe they'll go away eventually.

called me yesterday, did not pick up.  when I tried to call it back, it was a non-working number....scam...

I received a call from this number Jan 6, 2016, it was identified only as Midway, KY. I answered the call, no one said anything. When I get these kinds of calls, I use my telephone's features to block that number. In the future, if that number tries to call me, it will ring once only. then stop. it's wonderful.

This is the Famous Scam where some criminal in India calls & claims to be with Microsoft Windows & says your PC has viruses & if you pay me hundreds of dollars they will remove them, have called me TWICE a day EVERY day for literally YEARS now

Keep getting calls from this number with "UNAVAILABLE" caller ID.  They never leave a message and the phone number literal does not works hen called back (disconnected messaging).  Don't answer is the best policy here.
