- Los AngelesJust got a call from this number. When I answered I heard a moment of motion on the other end of the line and then the just hung up.
- Los Angeles againThey just called back again. They asked for me by name. When i asked that they please hang up and not call this number again, he asked "Oh, so you would like me to cancel your mastercard?" I repeated my request so he kept saying over and over "Ok, I'll just cancel your mastercard!". You'll get a notice in 5 days. have nice day".
- RCthey called 6/2/08 didnt leave a message.
- JLReceived a call from them at approx 10am this morning. The lady said she was calling in reference to a VISA card I had ending in "4709" (which I do not have). When I had asked her where she received her info from, she couldn't answer me. When I asked to speak to her manager, she rudely asked "What for?" When I demanded she turn me over to a manager a second time, she hung up on me. I actually ordered a credit report this morning to make sure no one opened a credit card under my name, and sure enough, no one did. So this "4709" crap is obviously part of their script. A definite scam.

- BI'm not sure if it was this number, because it was an "unknown caller," but I have the same story. I got a call from a guy who said that he was with Vista Services and he was going to send me a 300$ gas giftcard for being a preferred customer. He stated my name and the last four digits of my debit card, and told me that Vista was affiliated with a company I bought something from.
After I had to interrupt him a couple times to ask him who he was with and to tell him I didn't want the free gas giftcard he said "You don't want it? What, do you own a gas station or something?" and then hung up on me immediately.- Caller: Vista Services
- DaisyI received a call at my work number from the number above stating that he was Bill calling from Vista Services in reference to my mastercard ending in **** and wanted to give me free gas card, etc. I told him I did not have a credit card ending in those numbers. I did not tell him that I used to and had closed that account about a month and a half ago. He said how interesting? I asked him were he got my info from......he said a partner of theirs where I purchased something. I knew this was a telemarketer because of all the noise in the background. I asked him to remove my name and phone number from his list and he said he was going to transfer me to his supervisor, then he hung up. How do these people get our information? I am curious since I closed out this credit card....does the credit card company then sell our "old" information to these telemarketers in a way to get back at us for not doing business with them? If you are wondering, my card was with HSBC Bank. I am going to call them to ask.

- rachelI've been getting calls from this Vista service for a few days now.. they keep calling and either hanging up, or they start by saying that they are calling for *my name* about my credit card ending in *the last 4 digits of my debit card #* They then say that there is nothing wrong with my account, but i am a "preferred customer" so i am getting $60 worth of free gas coupons in the mail. apparently, they also send you coupons, and if you keep them, you get billed like $20 unless you call the 1-800 number. I had several of these phone calls. they want you to verify your DOB in the phone... don't do it. i dont think it would be wise.. probably a scam.. this lady called earlier today and i told her not to even bother sending it because i didn't want her coupons, and she got all pissed and said "so you're just going to throw away all this free money?" and then i told her i don't give a crap, just dont call me anymore, she was like "you're a skeptic" and hung up on me.
i think this is a scam, so people please be careful!!!!!- Caller: Vista Services

- JenniferA man from Vista Services calling regarding my visa card ending in the last 4 #'s of my credit card. He said he was calling to offer me $120 worth of free gas, when I told him I wasn't interested he said EXCUSE ME! Why would you not be interested im offering you free gas. I said that there must be something more and he said that all I have to pay is the $2 shipping then cancel before 30 days or I would be billed 29.99 monthly. When I told him again that I was not interested he said thats why the economy is the way it is today because of people like you and hung up on me.

- Virginia at workI received a call at work from these people "Vista Services".
The phone number was different 213.504.7038 she called herself Rose.
After giving me the last 4 digits of my CC she said they were sending me $150.00 free gas certificates. After asking her over and over again where they received my information and what was the cost of what she was trying to sell me. she finally said $2.00.
Frankly $2.00 is nothing however I think anyone that falls for this is open to a world of trouble.
I am forwarding her information to the State Attorney's office as a possible scam and if nothing else, in Florida Telemarketing to a peron at their place of business is a crime.- Caller: Vista Services

- CDThese folks from Vista Services have been bugging me at work. I have told them each time that I am not interested and to take my phone number off their call list. They still keep calling. As I do not use my credit card much I think I know how they got my information. I heard a radio advertisement for a "free" book: "Natural Cures They Don't Want You to Know About" by Kevin Trudeau. I called and ordered the book using the credit card that these telemarketers are referring to for the $15 postage. I knew about the postage charge, that was not a problem. After ordering the book they try to sell you the same crap as these telemarkers. Soon after this the calls started. My father always said - nothing is "free".

- CJReceived the same call, was told that I would recieve $120 in free gas, also verified the last 4 of my debit card. Was told that they got my information because one of their marketing partners referred me as a perferred customer, but no one could tell me the name of the mutual company. I immediately called my bank and had my card canceled. They called from 619-801-1151 and gave me a customer service number of 800-316-9563

- CSI have recieved many of these same types of phone calls in the last couple of weeks. The most recent one today. The number was different though: 1-616-980-1151. After I answered the call the guy on the other line asked for me by name. He then told me that I was a perferred customer through Mastercard and verified my last 4 digits. I immediately told him that I was not interested in the program he was offering. Which was $120 in gas vouchers and major dicounts at wlamart and target and many other department stores. When I told him again that I was not interested, he told me that they were sending the information anyway and if I couldn't find two minutes in the next 30 days to call and cancel then it wasn't worth me having it anyway. I immediately called my bank and talked with them. They were astounded by the call and had never heard of any of this going on. I cancelled our card, called Walmart and they had no information on this program either. I also called mastercard and they were blown away from it also. PLEASE if you recieve any of these calls, DO NOT give them any more info and then call your bank!!! Best of luck to all who have to deal with this.

- SandyToday we received another phone call from Vista Services. Yesterday they called from 231-732-2737. This morning the number was 616-980-1151. Somewhere a common denominator must exist. All of us on this board may have made a purchase from an online or other retailer and Vista Services was able to obtain our information through that service.
We just cancelled our credit card VISA and cancelled after having called their fraud line. They will send us a new card in the next couple of days.
Suggest that everyone keep an eye on your account.- Caller: Vista Services
