3rd time today got a call, no one speaks nothing.

I was called by this number three times before someone picked up and tried to sell me a lower electricity rate. She the salesperson tried to set up an account for me while refusing to provide me independent details about how I could understand this rate changed. I demanded my name and number be refused from this effort.

That's what caller ID is for.

4th time today got a call from this number, no one speaks ...not sure what they want ...please speak or stop harassing us....

A call to ask for the person who handles the electric bill. This is about the sixth call. I asked to whom they wished to speak, and the male caller hung up. How can I find out what company this was? I would like to take action.

Got ANOTHER call from this company,  the  7th in 10 days.   The first call I asked to be taken off their list. Did they do it?  NO!     When they call it is first a recorded message, something benign but sounding important, but then a person gets on and  tries to talk you into changing your utility company.

I am 88 yrs old and cannot take these interruptions anymore.  Something needs to be done.

Was asked for the person who handles the electric bill. I explained that I know "A guy".
I get free electricity, cable TV, booze, phone, & broads. Schmuck hung up.

Once again, I received another call this morning at 9:41am, 4-12-12.
This time I waited for a "human" to start talking, rather than the recording.
The guy said his name was "Tyler" and he was with "Discount Utility" a company that supposedly saves people money on their electric bills.

I told him that this was the 8th call I had received and please take us off the call list again. He hung up after mumbling a profanity.

Something needs to be done about these businesses. I am 88 yrs old and cannot continue getting these calls. My daughter writes these complaints on this website for me. I have another one just above this one.

These people have been calling and saying nothing when I answer. It's very aggravating because I'm disabled and it takes me a while to get to the phone. I wish these morons would leave us alone.

I get these phone calls, too, but I never pick up because I don't recognize the number. I look them up and see that they're usually the same number that others' have complained about, particularly discount electricity. They need a better telemarketing service.

Same, called but no answer.  They called twice today.

NEVER answer, even worse respond to, a number you do not recognize.  Same as using the Unsubscribe for E-Mail, you are letting someone know that your phone number is a working number and they sell it to advertisers.

I created ZZZ as a contact and programmed it with a silent ringtone. Whenever I get a questionable call, I do not answer it and if I figure it to be a junk call, I save the phone number into ZZZ.  This way, if they call again, I see ZZZ on my display and know not to answer it.

This was started over two years ago and I now have over 145 entries in ZZZ.
I rarely ever see ZZZ on my phone.
This proves that blocking these calls is worthless.

Just don't answer numbers you do not recognize.  If it is important, they can leave a message.
