Solicitor with a blocked caller ID. called several time day and night on my cell phone. They left a long message listing off everything from duct cleaning to home improvements.

I'm on the do not call list which has cut down greatly on my telemarketing calls.  The only local transgressor is this annoying "Kevin" who I cannot seem to shake.  I've received dozens of calls from this guy over several years for various home repair services.  I've listened to the long rambling message and pressed a number to opt out which did not work.  Twice I've called back and left messages to be taken off the list with no luck. Finally, yesterday I called and he picked up the phone!  Friday afternoons during the holidays are the perfect time to catch contractors.  He explained he'd tried to get the do not call list from Blumenthal but the state refused to give it out.  I explained that did not give him the right to disturb residents on that list.  From the short chat I had with "Kevin", I learned he did not have a SS#, had never paid income taxes, that the IRS was not after him nor the other 30 million born and bred Americans that did not have SS#s, that it was illegal for the feds to enforce such laws and that no one had to pay taxes if they so chose.  Whatever.  Kevin said he'd manually take my number off his list.  He was polite and can probably give some of the best quotes around if he doesn't pay ANY taxes.  I respect that he works unlike all the people in this country on the dole...food stamps, welfare, medicaid, disability for hang nail, subsidized everything and even unlimited unemployment benefits.  Without a "safety net" guess what...PEOPLE FIND WORK.  That said, if the Feds, IRS or CT Dept Revenue are reading please get this guy.  Sounds like a "catch me if you can" scenario.

Have gotten 2 recorded messages from this [***] Kevin this week.  I too have spoken to him and asked to be removed from his list.  Curious why he seldom answers his phone.  The CT Dept of Consumer Protection website is a morass that I've yet to untangle.  Anyone have any ideas as to how to stop this jerk?

I have received this solicitated message too many times. I have left numerous messages to take my number off his caller list. When this phone message calls my phone, the caller ID shows up "anonymous". How do you stop this type of harassment? Kevin if you are reading this, get rid of this type of calling.
