Got call from this number on my cell.  This number is from Verizon Wireless and wanted me to activate my new phone.
I have AT&T and don't have a new phone.
I think it is some kind of scam.

Called my cellphone. I didn't recognize number, even though it is local. Did not leave message.

Called in the late afternoon. Left no message. My number isn't even an 860 number, it is 203.

Called my business phone, no message.

Called my cell at 5:49pm and left no message.

Got 2 calls today. Ignored 1st one; picked up 2nd one. Robot said, “This is a very important call!” So I hung up. I called the number. Robot told me to enter my Verizon Wireless mobile number. I have AT&T. Definitely a scam.

Called offered me a free cruise then hung up on me before I even responded.

ROBO CALL about a cruise. ROBO calls are illegal.  I'm also on the do not call list.  But scammers don't care about the list.  I knew it was garbage but listened anyway...they asked for a credit or debit card.
