No one on line when answered.

Got a call from this number at 6:33pm ET. They were claiming it was Geek Squad and wanted to know about my home computer. Knew this was a scam right away and immediately verbally recognized this to the caller. He hung up and got a phone number disconnected message when I attempted to call back.

Got a call from this number on my cell phone.  Don't know how they got that number - I use it for friends and family only, never business.  Anyway they called at 9:50am EST.  An Indian sounding man said he was from Geek Squad and that there was an attack on computers in my area.  I knew this was a SCAM since I use Geek Squad remote.  I told him - nice try - scam call and hung up before he had the chance to say anymore.  Tried calling back  got no answer.  Just rang.

called my cell phone! said he was calling about my computer. told him to take my number off the list.  And I'm on the do not call list!

I'm on Do Not Call list, they keep calling my cell & trying to scam me somehow.

The name that appeared on by phone was Martin F.Garcia. A young Asian/Hispanic Lady said she was calling from Geek Technical Support and was call about my computer. I immediately interrupted her and told her I didn't call the,don't have a problem with my computer, and she shouldn't call me unless I called her first, then hung up before she could respond.

Eastern sounding man wanted to fix my computer. When called out about the obvious scam he became threatening, rambled on with anti-American slurs and threatened to nuke my entire family.  A good rule of thumb to remember is that nuclear threats and anti-America sentiments typically verify a scam. A real Geek Squad representative would probably never do that.

.... while that may be true, you've kinda missed the larger issue - that Geek Squad/Microsoft/Windows etc... NEVER cold-call people to tell them their computer is having problems.  THAT is what guarantees they are scammers!

this is a fradulet call.  They claim to be from a variety of companies and try to social engineer you to try and get any information that they can.  That information is put in a database and sold so that the next caller can better target the victim by sounding more convincing.  Dont talk to these people and DO NOT CALL THEM BACK.  Once they know that you will call back a number your number is put into a different database and sold to entities that charge you you to call them.  The scam is they robo call you knowing you will not pick up... but you are charged when you call their number and they pick up (usually nothing on the line, just silence).  Your phone bill will see a flat fee charged to it.

This number is one of those scams.

SCAMMER PESTS CROOKS

Same line, Geek squad calling because I was having computer trouble. I asked how he knew that, had he hacked my computer? Hung up as he stried to explain he had not hacked nor said that he had- accent was probably East Indian.

Same as the others I do not answer thy Leave no message. But I have been called 15 times or more and even on week ends. Some annoying scam. But only 1 of many scam callers

Wanted to know if i was on computer right now I told him not to call me any more & hung up

I am so tired of people calling telling me something is wrong with my computer.  If there is something wrong with my computer i will take care of it.

Got a call from this number on my cell phone.  Did not answer it.  Got another one last night from the same area code.  Did not answer it either.
