I just came home to find the same orange piece of paper taped to the main (unlocked) door NOT the actual apartment door it belonged to.  Same company listed "PR Recovery", same telephone number as well.  By the time anyone cares about that note, the car in question I am sure will be long gone...morons!

We found an orange notice on our door, We called spoke with the company they were very nice and they explained who they were looking for turns out they were looking for a tenant who moved out of my building 2 months ago. They said thank you for calling and they were happy they were able to verify the address as no longer being occupied by this person and they promised they would not return. I would call them if i were you it will stop people from coming to your house

These strangers show up at my door after 9pm last night banging on my door. Who are these incredibly bold crazies? I will have the police respond if they return.

I just got a card in my mail box it must have been drop off last night. Or this morning.
I called  would not leave my name  lets see
If they call back. For. I have a tenant. In
The  house behind me.

Found An orange notice on my door saying was investigated. I am a hardworking individual. I am honest and works very hard. I have no time to do wrong things. I called let's see if they respond. I am sick of this bull........just leave hardworking, honest people alone

I came home from a hard nights work to find an orange paper stuck to my front door with this same # saying its from p.b recovery  it says final notice this is the first time i ever got notified by these people who are they?,

Received a notice on my door this weekend and called In seems like they were looking for the people who used to rent my house who moved out 3 years ago .... If u get a notice just call I spoke with a very nice lady and she promised me no one would return and no more notices will be left .... If u want them to stop coming to your house just call them there probley not even looking for you

Possibly   auto repossession.    They sometimes leave notices on houses where the cars are to be repossessed.  

Um yeah I just got woken up its 130am NY some creppy dudes posting orang notes on my mailbox and fence wtf my family is trying to sleep and I don't appreciate this who are these people. Felt like something straight out of the purge

Got a orange notice too and called twice with no response. Also a notice that Said final notice and it was my first one. Sounds like some sort if scam

When you responded what did they say

They are an asset recovery company; if you are late on your car (or other loan) they will hook it up and tow it away. Then maybe steal your stuff out of it or off it. Most of their tactics are illegal. Report them to the police. It's illegal to disturb the peace (make a scene, cause a disturbance) and must leave your property as soon as you tell them to. They have to register with your police dept. for your repo, they cannot just take your car. Even then, unless it's a court order, tell them take a hike.  Placing stickers on your door is not legal - take a pic and file a lawsuit. Record their threatening calls, and press charges for misrepresenting their authority - as in Investigator so-and-so.

So I received a "final notice" even though this is my first one. I don't appreciate having strangers taping neon papers to my door saying they need to "investigate" me when in reality I owe nothing to no one so

Even I got the same , reason : they are looking for person who used to live in my apartment prior to me .So I told them he is no more staying here they said they will not stick those anymore .

These [***] taped an orange sticker on my freshly painted door if I catch them I will bust a baseball bat upside their head

Wrong on many things. Especially in NJ. I'm an investigator for a repossession company.
