Received a text from 1872367186@vtext.com. The text read exactly as follows: "(BankOfAmerica-ImportantMessage.PleaseContact:862-246-6373)"

I don't have a Bank of America account. Never have.

Update:  Upon calling the number in question, an outdated automated voice informs the caller, "Thank you for calling Bank of America Tele-branch service.  Your debit card has been limited due to a security issue.  To reactivate, please press 1 now."

Whether or not you press anything, the automated voice begins speaking again, "To successfully verify your identity, please enter your NINE DIGIT SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER."

No legit bank would ever ask you for your complete SSN.  This is a scam.

Update #2:  Contacted the REAL Bank of America and notified them of this security issue.  I gave them the above account including the 800 number requesting full SSN's.

Got the exact same message.  I used a different phone to call the number.  Got the same recording as described above.  I hung up the phone.  SCAM!
