no idea who this is,  lots of missed calls show and no message ever left

Unknown entity, no answer when picked up

We got a message from this number today @ 2:25PM. Something about homeowners saving money on utilities. We deleted the message. Seems like these harassers are just getting started since there are only 3 other posts before ours.

Received call at 7:45 pm on cell. No message left

I didn't answer. They didn't leave a message

They left a pre-recorded message that tied up my machine, about the American Recovery & reinvestment Act that was "recently passed by Congress" (yea - in 2009, some 6 years ago!).  These robo-terrorists provide fake "urgent" data to entice a response in order to steal your life, and your loved ones lives as well, by saying you need to press 1 to stop an impending electric rate increase or to press 2 if they reached you in error. Regardless they will steal something from you if you respond in any manner.

To make it even worse, the phone provider profits by providing service to the scammers and won’t shut them down as it would be lost income for that phone provider who also know the robo-terrorists are out there just by monitoring the bandwidth they utilize.  And the phone provider’s even make additional money (via charges for opening new services) by switching the roboterrorists outgoing lines so a complaint about any particular number would be meaningless once the roboscum feel it’s time to spoof any number du-jour.

Folks, it’s high time to fight back – contact your phone service provider and request to make your number a toll number for incoming calls from any “Out of the Area”, “Unavailable”, 800, 844, 866 or 888 numbers, so when robocallers attack your privacy then they must pay you for your valuable time.  And for paybacks – identify the roboscum and supply their mailing address to every junk mailing firm possible as there are lots of postcards in magazines. On the up side - this will help reduce the USPS debt.

Contact your legislators to stop the robocallers – send them a complaint every time you get a call.  Tell them to stop the scumbags or you will elect someone who will!  And why not sue the phone providers for their inaction to pull the plug on these phone terrorists as well?  A fantastic class action suit awaits a great attorney team on this one, because it appears that neither Federal nor State authorities give a damn to protect us and openly permit the phone companies to continually profit from your life being interrupted.  I use a Panasonic KX-TG6844 phone that can block 250 numbers. The cost of $111 pays for itself if you use Verizon’s Call Intercept service (a $9.99 per month ransom plus federal and local taxes) in a year and you can drop the Verizon intercept service.

Contact the Consumer Union (Consumer Reports) site www.EndRobocalls.org and sign their petition to pressure the phone companies and lobby the government. It won’t cost you a cent!  BTW, recent news articles (early July 2015) indicate Verizon is going to screw us more during their attempt to deregulate communications services and fees which could cost us more by buying into their anonymous call intercept useless service, etc.

No message; now blocked (out of Newark, NJ).

didn't answer when I saw Newark, NJ...no message either. i hate these calls...

I like to ans these calls while at my sales job while I'm talking to a client about their buying my wares. Now they can listen to me selling. I just ans the call and leave it on my desk and keep on talking. It's so much fun.

Received  two calls from this number -  9/3 and 9/4 - both originating from Newark , NJ

Same here. Two calls today that I didn't answer - after me telling them last week to remove my number.

Received call on my cell phone.  Name displays "TECHNOLOGIC INC".  No message was left.

Unknown caller based in Newark, NJ that left no voicemail.  Based on the spam record here, I'm blocking this number.

Just received a call from them. It's 830pm! Didnt answer. No vm left.

Constant phone calls but no messages left

WOW! These harassers have sure picked up the pace since we first posted on 9/2/2015. We got our second hang up today 9/10/2015 @ 12:11 PM. Seems they are ramping up their game and we are in for a bumpy ride.

Another part of present day USA with robocalls and no politician has the guts to try and stop this. They should be trced, investigated, fine, jailed and shutdown!
