- W.T.| 4 repliesThree calls from 863-402-2779 the evening of March 28th (same approximate time as above), on my work cell (VERY unlisted). I was at a sports arena and couldn't hear, but I swear I made out a female voice identifying herself as calling from an "auto club." I hung up. The number called twice again in the next two minutes but left no message.
- Soheart replies to W.T.| 1 replyIt was from Progressive Roadside
- OGolly in Boise replies to SoheartThank you for the info
- use to| 9 repliesThis is Cross Country Motor Club, They provide (sic) emergency roadside service for alot of insurances, (progressive, century 21, chrysler, GM, Honda etc. They are the CRAPPIEST roadside service around. If you count on them I feel sorry for you. I use to do work for them, they lie, cheat their providers etc. That is why they have trouble getting help for stranded people. They don't care how long you have to wait, they will try and send someone from at least 60 miles away. Frankly, they SUCK. If my insurance company used them for roadside I'd change insurance carriers.

- SERVICE PROVIDER replies to use to| 4 repliesYou know why they suck? because they don't want to pay. I'm currently a service provider for them and they are cheap as hell. EXample: LOCKOUT $38.00, TIRE CHANGE $42.00, JUMPSTART $39.00 MINIMUM WAGE 101.
- Another provider replies to SERVICE PROVIDER| 2 repliesHEck, be lucky you get that my friend, we went down from 28 a call, to 26 unjlock, 24 tire-jump. Now the greedy @#$%# call, want to drop to 23 bucks. Amazing that usaa, profressive, GM ford crysler gets into bed with them pay them 75 bucks, they OWN NOTHING, just basically a referrel service. I cant wait to build up enoough core market business to tell them to shove their 23 bucks, even at 1500 calls a month
- Tow Joe replies to use to| 1 replyYes, this roadside service and call center is a joke. i'm a tow owner/operator. They called when I was unavailable while loading and had their missed call on my line. Then a customer calls me saying they got an automated message to call my # stating my ETA was 40 min. When I told the customer I did not get nothing for this request.. no RO... they said they had a flat and the tow truck they dispatched earliar arrived but didnt have the right equipment. They need to get it together.
- use to do their work replies to Tow JoeCross Country SUCKS. I no longer do work for them. They don't pay worth a crap, they lie to their providers on what and how much is covered. Will even give a phoney name of a phoney supervisor to authorize amounts in excess of coverage but then won't pay and Hark, claim there is nobody there with the phoney name they gave you. They don't care about the stranded customer. I would NEVER get insurance with any company that uses these crooked lying bas**rds. USAA, Progressive, Century 21, GM, Chrysler, Honda to name a few. Having roadside or towing coverage from any of these companies is the same as having NO coverage at all. Hell, my brother was 65 miles away and called to get a PO and they wouldn't give him one NOR would they give him a key code to cut a key for their customer. Instead, they called me 65 miles away (different business) and gave me a key code and P.O. to go help the customer. I called my brother and gave him the key code, he did the job and I billed the a**holes for the trip. Cost the dummies more than it would had they cared about their customers.
- JennJust got a call...they referred to me by my name and said they were calling to give me a case number.Huh for what I asked. The caller replied didn't you just call and ask for a case number. Nope! He said he must have the wrong Jenn -*-*-. Strange -my name and number. It's a cell number too.
Sounded all rushed and out of breath too like he was super busy. Creepy! - jesProgressive Roadside
- Airtight recovery replies to Another provider| 1 replyI want to get into motor club towing i have 2 rollbacks and live in North Carolina who do i contact please help?
- JJ| 2 repliesRoadside assistance... They have called me at least once a day for 2 weeks. I never answer numbers I don't know. I've also never used a roadside assistance number for anything. I finally answered and the lady started asking me questions about a car I supposedly towed. I asked her to repeat herself and she started getting rude. So I just told her you have the wrong number and you've been calling me multiple times a day for weeks. You have the wrong number and please don't call back again. She muttered something unintelligible and hung up. Hopefully they stop calling.
- JJ replies to JJ| 1 replyThey are still calling me. Called at 6:30am on Monday, and called 3 times last night- 10:29, 10:48, 10:49. I have do not disturb on my phone but it rang through because they continued to call. I answered and told them they have the wrong number and to stop calling (3rd time I've told them to stop calling). Asked who I could call to get my phone number removed from whatever system they are calling from. They hung up. Getting VERY sick of these calls. I have no idea how they got my number in their system. Never used roadside or anything.

- receptionist at car dealershipThis number belongs to Cross Country and represents Liberty Mutual.. Miguel was the name he used and he was the RUDEST person I have ever spoken to on a telephone!!!! He called 14 times, back to back when he reached a voice mail for the department he was calling for, He yelled at me and said he would keep calling until someone talked to him, keep in mind these calls all came in a 10 minute window during lunch hours.. I told him that he would HAVE to leave a message for a call back.. He continued to call 3 more times and finally hung up. This is NO way to do business! I wanted to publicly post my complaint with him so if any other unfortunate people have to deal with this miserable human being they will know he is just a NASTY person, period! I will also be making a complaint to his company since all of our business calls are recorded anyway!
- Caller: Cross Country/ Liberty Mutual
- linzyThey called and and said they were from fiat insurance or something like that.
- upset motoristCross Country Motor Club are thieves and cheat you out of your money....there is no sense in trying to contact them due to every number or address is either unanswered or your email is returned. I'd rather sit on the side of the road in frigid temperatures and snow [***] deep on a tall pirate than ever call their service again. I called for 'roadside assistance' and by chance I had someone pull over to help me so I immediately called them back and the tow truck service. The tow truck service was appreciative of my call and thanked me for not wasting his time and there was no charge on his end. Cross Country Motor Club charged my credit card and I have played Hell trying to get an answer on why, or a reverse to my charges....to hell with them if they can't have a real person in real time answer the phone...when it says on their answering machince the hours they are available.....[***]!
- Marrina| 1 replyThey called claiming to be USAA checking on a tow. Almost all auto shops have caller ID. Just be honest and I will not mess with you!
