Called with pre recorded message about special credit card offer and to press 1 to speak with a live operator. I pressed 1 to inform them I was on the do not call list but they hung up before I could even finish my sentence. Obviously a scam.

Just missed a call from this number while at work.  I will not call it back.  A few weeks ago, I got a call from a 268 area code - answered at the first ring, and they hung up.  I went on to read on Google the next day that it's a scam - the caller calls once and hangs up... leaves their number showing on your caller ID.  They hope you are curious enough that you call back.  I was lucky I had read that article only days earlier.  I am nosy, and I would have called back.  I'm on the "do not call" registry and have been for years.  For some reason, it doesn't seem to work.  Surprise... surprise!

Got a call from this number claiming to lower my credit card rate, tried saying I have 3500 balance I told her I don't and this was a scam, she then hung up on me

I just got a call from this number. Didn't answer. Funny though, the caller ID labelled it "CREDIT CARD SCA" ... I'm sure the last letter was an M, but my phone didn't pick that up.

Just called. They also phoned yesterday. Same BS.

If I don't recognize the caller ID I don't answer.  Once you answer the phone they know it's an active line.

Just got a call from this number, did not answer, did not leave a message.  Came through as "Unknown Name."  

Just got a call too.I ignored it, then called it back and got a busy signal.  live in upstate NY. Seems like they are calling everyone! I hate these calls!!

Just got a call from 863-439-2649, a prerecorded message regarding credit cards. When I pressed 1 to get the company's name and report them, no one was on the line.

Got a call from telephone number 863-439-2649 this morning, and I immediately hung up. Number is said to be from Florida and I live in California.

It keeps calling and calling but never leaves a message.  

Here's what I found out from a little investigating on phone number (863) 439-2649 fl, usa  this number is from a Verizon cell from Haines Florida 33844 that's about all I can find out you kind of hit a dead-end once you hit a cell number but I do think Verizon needs to be responsible for these calls and put a stop to this carrier that using their phone in this manner
