This number has called my cell phone 5 times per day the past 2wks and never leaves a message!

Calls, doesn't leave a message. I called number back said Credit One Bank. Wanted my social. When I asked who he was with because I am careful who I give that info out to and could he look up my info another way. He immediately replied that I could call back once I had all my info together. Very heavy Australian accent. I have worked in finance centers doing collections. When we would get a call back the last thing we would do is let the caller go that easy. There are several ways to look up customer info without account # or social. Very Suspicious.

This number is bombing my phone, but will never leave a message identifying who they are.  They leave a message telling you what number to call, but not who they are.

Calls several times a day never leaves message.  When I called back was One Bank message on phone. Never heard of them

You are LATE on your credit card bill, that is why they are calling.

They call my phone it rings once and then they hang up. I call back and it tell me to hold and they they hang up on me.

This is credit one bank. I tried to get my online account reset with them, but when I called they wanted social, and then they tried to verify my bank account number online. Then she proceeded to tell me I needed to send a blank check to them in order to get my account opened up. All I wanted was online access to pay on the account.

I don't even have an account with them, so try again.

Credit One Bank is apparently attempting some sort of a ruse.
This is the latest of several DIFFERENT phone numbers (and sometimes variable caller id) used for several calls either asking for someone who doesn't live here or not responding at all. SAMPLE:

I am getting the same calls from Florida at this number.  I do have a Credit Card but I am not late.  They never know the correct amounts either if I push them.  They are so pushy and rude I know they are not ligit  The real credit card companies leave a polite message with a return number.  They got my Dad too and he is 82 with mild dementia

Examples of credit card reminder / courtesy calls from the more predatory financial institutions. These calls can be made to relatives, friends and others under the disguise of phone numbers being associated, alternate contact number, or their BS excuse of how it's a wrong number. You treat these criminal organizations the same way as any corrupt debt collection organization by filing a cease and desist certified mail or through their BBB's that records request. They all whine like little school girls when this is done and should be followed up with complaints for violations under FDCPA to the CFPB. They've called me 28x in the past 2 days my account has been paid in full for 6 months now and I've not used the card again.
I am cancelling the card altogether I'm tired of the phone calls and I am on a do not call list as well.

Called at 6:26am. I will block.

Credit One collections dept. Very rude wanted information they should already have. Stated that I owed them a small amount of money which I do but it's not due until later this month otherwise up to date with no late payments or fees. Canceling the card 42 calls in 1 day is a little extreme.

Have called 5x already today with no message- called the number back and was put on hold and hung up on. Don't have a card with them so blocking them.

Weird! I don't have an account with this company. The only credit card I have is thru my credit union. So ASS try again!

they started calling me today at 12:30 pm and have called 6 times by 4:30. I don't answer my phone if I don't recognize the number. Calls like this is the reason why. Now I know from this sight that it is a fake for credit one.
