This is another # for The Law Offices Of Ed OverCash. They also use 864-298-1143 and 888-511-1130. I have just sent them a CEASE and DESISt order-and a request for a statement proving said debt exists. They got my husbands WORK cell #, my unpublished,unlisted HOME phone #, they started calling my MOTHER's house! How did they know my maiden name? How did they know where I lived over 20 years ago-do they think I still live there? duh-They are harassing myself, and my family-I am seriously considering sueing them and filing a Class Action Lawsuit. I cannot find an Ed Overcash registered under the National Bar Association, the SC Bar Assoc..no where. I am furious at "Lisa"..she( and the others) really has no idea how many laws she violated under the FTC's Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. Be wary-I really don't think these people are on the up and up..is it too much to ask for proof? They are required to provide written statement proving debt is due-I was told a "statement would nee to be ordered,and it would take 120 days"..well, ORDER IT! I asked to speak to the LAWYER Ed Overcash- "No lawyers work in this office" ??? Really?? You expect ME to send YOU money that YOU can't PROVE I owe?

Their robo-dialer was regularly harassing us. After several attempts to call back, finally got through to a "Dan". he disclosed the full name and address of the person they were attempting to find and even gave us the last 4 digits of the persons SSN!!!! I really hope someone shuts down these companies that play fast and loose with private data.
