Called yesterday & asked for me by name.  I asked who was calling & the lady said that she can't hear me if I'm on speaker phone.  I told her I wasn't and then she replied, "Yes, you are" and hung up.  They tried calling again today, but I missed the call.

Looked it up, but no company returned. Who is this?

Got a call from this number today. Said they were the "CRA" & were looking for my sister, who has never lived with me. Anyone know who these people are?

Called my job and would not tell me who was calling and just hung up. Fast talker at that. I tried to call the number back but an operator said the number was not in service. Go figure!!!

A company called CRA "Consumer Recovery Associates" Very rude company and I have filed a complaint with the FTC. If anyone gets a call from them I suggest you do the same.

Called my old phone (dummy line) and left no message.

That number called me today also didnt know number so I didnt answer looked up number found nothing they left no vm

I receive a call from this phone number (864)502-1011 twice. This afternoon I happened to talk to one of them. She could not tell me who they are, she insisted saying they are CRA, and I asked what is CRA? She couldn’t explain instead she told me to hold while s transfers me to another person. I just hang up on them. I trace their phone number and it seems they are located in South Carolina (Carrier: LEVEL 3 COMMUNICATIONS, LL-
City/State: ANDERSON, SC) anybody know who are this people?

I just found out that they are debt collectors. One of their representative told that, if I don’t pay they report me to IRS to deal with me base on IRS code 29c

Just received a call from them, told me they were transferring my call and not to hang up or I would be in serious legal trouble. Then they hung up on me. Waiting for them to call me back. I will ignore them now that I know who they are

these people are a-sh--e's call me all the time but why?

Some people reported its CRA calling.  I've found info on this company regarding many of the other #s they call from.  When they call from their other #s, I sometimes get a voicemail saying they're from CRA & spout off a random "file number."  Sometimes they'll leave messages saying "I don't know if you're aware of the situation in our office.  Its very important you or your representative call us back as soon as possible."  

On one of their other numbers, someone said that they're a collection agency, trying to collect on a VERY old debt, that they can't legally collect on.  Some even said they were harrassing friends & family members.  The people who call are always rude, and never give any information regarding who they are or what the "debt" actually is, but just expect people to fork over money after threats.   Some poor schmuck actually fell for it.    

It could be someone trying to collect a debt, or just a company of scammers.  Either way, avoid these rude people like the plague!

Someone called from this number but they didn't answered or left a message . The caller id. only showed out of area. I have read the stories from other people regarding this CRA but I even wonder if it was for me since my phone number is new, just a couple weeks new, so maybe they are looking for whoever had the number before me.

I just got this crazy call from 864 502 1011, n this not hoe I wanted to start my morning. First, I was ask to hold, only to be harrassed by a manager (so they say). How it possible that companies like this exist and are giving licenses to do business (if they are a legit business). I know some ppl who could a job, since they seem to be hiring [***] (to be nice) to PLAY Customer Service Rep. Lastly, if I were interested in paying off a debt, trying to BULLYING me to pay it is not the way to go. Where is our rights to stop this type of harrassing calls?

I got the call this morning, saying that I needed to call them back and that it was very imparative that i do so.Knew a job that i had when i was in my 20's. Bout 40 now. I am about to call them back here shortly. By what everyone is saying they are rude, they haven't heard me yet. I will call them as they do all of us. Everyday. Then since I own 3 businesses, I will have to report them, and I have a friend that works for the BBB. I will have them call there and see what is going on.

Google Consumer Recovery Associates - Lots of info.  None of it good.  Debt Collectors.
They are members of Better Business Bureau - Complain to BBB.  May not do much - But I consider it reverse harrassment as they need to answer complaints.
