Consumer Recovery Associates had called me this morning and started asking about a bill. When I had told him it wasn't mine he started talking about other bills that wasn't mine. I had asked if these places hired them to collect and he would never answer and kept changing the subject to a new bill. I had asked that question several time but he would never give me an answer. I asked him if he was a crook and I got a nasty response and he hung up on me.

Yea, They called me too........they asked for my EX-girlfriend.  I guess she must have listed my number as a contact number.  The lady just said that they needed to speak to HER or the person representing HER; and that they needed to speak to her/them TODAY.  Im not sure what this is about but they didnt ask for me so Im not worried.

They called, I answered, they hung up.

They called my husband's cell (number is unlisted and under my name). They were looking for him. How did they get his number?
