Lady called to ask about my ex-wife... I've been divorced for 14 years. She was digging for info...

my home loan was just bought by 21st Mortgage, they wanted their money, well  my payment went to my original lender a week earlier, I never received a notification in the mail that my loan was sold until 20 days later. the next month my  payment was in their office on the due day, and they are calling for the check! What ever happened to the 15 day grace period for the postal service to do their job?

I HAVE GOTTEN SEVERAL CALLS ON MY CELL PHONE FROM  865-292-2120.  I CALLED BACK ONCE AND GOT A VOICE MESSAGE OF 21ST MORTGAGE.  I DON'T OWN A HOME NOR DO I WANT TO BUY ONE.  FIGURED IT WAS A MISTAKE.
NOW AFTER TWO MORE CALLS FROM THE NUMBER (WHICH ID DID NOT ANSWER AND THEY LEFT NO MESSAGE) I GOOGLED THE  NUMBER AND FIND OTHER PEOPLE GETTING CALLS.
MY GUESS IS WHOEVER IS CALLING HAS SOME SCAM THEIR TRYING TO PULL.  I RECOMMEND IGNORING ANY CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER OR ANY OTHER NUMBER YOU DO NOT RECOGNIZE.  LOTS OF FREAKS OUT THERE!!

Calls everyday-asking for information (someone I've never heard of)

Left a message saying 'This is 21st Mortgage. We are trying to contact one of your possible neighbors, E***** R*** could we ask him to contact Rachel on 1 800 955 0021?'. First, we are not a listed number, and they gave no information on what address we could be neighbors to. So we're not bothered to call back.

I have gotten a call evry few weeks from this number, asking for some lady to call them back 21st mortgage, sounds like it may be a recording, wierd.

Someone calls my FAX number 25 time since the first of November.
This is stupid.

Got a call from this number. They left a message wanting info on reaching a neighbor, the name given was not my neighbor.

This number 865-292-2120 is calling me at all hours of the day. Most annoying is at night when Im trying to sleep. Calling at midnight is much to much. I ended up having to shut the ringer off all my phones and unhook the answering machine. No one talks, just beep beep beep. Guessing fax machine? This has to stop!!!Number didnt show up on my phone caller i.d. I had to *69 to find out what it was. Called the number back...busy, probably annoying someone else!!!

posting a follow up message. I called the number back and it wasnt busy anymore. It was 21st mortgage. I told them I dont do business with them. I told them about the calls. That it beeps and beeps and beeps. How long its been doing it. That Im going to report them. That I had looked them up online and know others are also being harrassed. They said they would work with someone to take my number off of whatever fax machine it is on auto dial for. Hopefully now, they dont call me person to person, like some of these other people are getting. Lady who answered my call was nice...but we will see.

I have a mortgage with 21st mortgage.They call me ever month around the 26th to see when payment is going to be sent.My loan is due every month on 15th always paid by the 12th.But they still call me no matter what.I was told by my lawyer to have it taking out of my checking account to them and if they continue calling he would take over.They don't give you a 15 day grace period.Be there done that one because I got layed off from my job they closed down,They didn't care just wanted there payment.Good Luck.

Woman called me this morning called me by my first name without stating who they were asked if I was friends with Jennifer Smith.  I said no.  She just hung up.  Seemed strange to me.

I have an account with 21st mortgage. If I am so much as 1 day late, they will call every day until a payment has been received. If I tell them I've already sent the payment, they want another by phone - like I have that kind of disposable income! The funny thing is that when they do get a check on time, it does clear for 2 weeks.

I want to apologize to any of my neighbors in the 78101 zip, for any harrasment they may have encountered on my behalf, due to my late payments for June and July from the WORST FINANCE COMPANY EVER!

they call no less than 6 times a day if you are 1 day late and they have now started sending text messages to my phone. i have had numerous payments clear my account and they are still calling. when i tell them they check has cleared my account so they should have already posted it they say they will have to check into it and let me know. that is when the calling stops. but they have also let it ring a couple times and hang up. i cant wait til our loan is paid off with them they are horrible people. if you are late for a serious reason they dont believe you. like i was rushed to the hospital and had emergency surgery and i wasnt home to send off the bills for a couple weeks so it really was late and they didnt believe me wanted to know what i had done!!! these people are beyond rude!

21st Mortgage.  As the woman two posts up said - WORST FINANCE COMPANY ON THE PLANET!  Rude, mean, unethical, dishonest, relentless, and they lie.  Call at all hours.  Don't leave messages.  When we answer the phone, and there is an actual person on the other end, they're either rude, or they hang up on us.  They also have several different numbers they call from.  I'm slowly collecting those now.  I'm filing complaints with the Better Business Bureau in Knoxville, Tennesee, and any other town/city/state where they do business.  I'm also going to speak to our attorney, and see if he can do anything to get these people to knock it off.  If anyone has other ideas, please post them.  At the very least, I'd like to see them fined.  Frankly, with their business practices, I'm surprised they're not in jail.  That's where they belong.

I agree with Maggie!  I receive phone calls from them all time even if I am not late.  And, I too, had emergency surgery in June and did not get my July payment made on the 1st.  They got real ugly with my husband on the phone, and would not work with us on the payment until I received another paycheck.

They are rude when they do deign to speak with you, and I am doing my best to find another mortgage company and get rid of them so they will quit harrassing me.

I have a mortgage with these people and it isn't even late and I live in NC and they came to my house tonight!!!!!  They came from TN!!!!  I called the police and had them charged with Tresspassing!!  They are in for it now!

I have to say by far yours is the worse scenerio I've read so far from all web sites I've been researching on 21st Mortgage for our own case. We receive same type of calls, threats, and nasty unethical folks employed their. I am finding out a lot about them, pretty scary.

People can only call you during regular bussiness hours any thing else is illegal. Record the calls, contact a attorny and ask him to file in your behalf
