I received a call from 865-971-1377. I do not know that number. Man left a voice mail with a reference number. I called the number, blocking my own number and they said all agents are busy and to hold. I have no idea who would be calling and expect no credit companies. Does anyone know what this number is?

Received a call from this number and the person left a voice mail with a reference number.  I didn't call back.  If it's important, they can try again and leave their business information.  If they continue to call without identifying them, then I will have them blocked.

they called me from this morning today. it's a bill collector from one of the local hospitals

Also called with a reference number and my full name. I got the "we're sorry you have reached....." message when I tried to call back.  Obviously, it's not that important if I have a non working number to return the call too!

I got the same call. It was from a surgical group. I had sent them my payment information in the mail wanting to pay a bill via a visa. In order to use a credit card to pay there was an additional 3 dollar and ?? cents charge. They were calling to gain authorization to go ahead and process it..

Called with reference number, said his name is Jamie. Used middle initial with my name so I knew it wasn't a personal call.

Natasha called using my first and last name along with a reference number asking me to please call.  Gave NO company reference.  If they need me, send a letter.

This is the billing company for Premier Surgical Associates. They may also handle billing for other hospital/medical services as well.

Constance called and left message on answering machine with a reference number. Gave the call back number 971-1377 but when I called it back to find out who it was, I got a message that the call could not be completed as dialed. If you can't leave your company name then you don't need to be leaving messages.

I got call on cellphone. I'm on the no call list, which apparently means nothing anyway. returned call. "All agents busy". I hung up. I'll do my part and report it to whomever and all I can to expose them.

What kind of idiots are working for this place and what kind of management do the have to come up with their calling policy. Even if it is legit. it looks like a scaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaam!!!!!!!!

I got a call and mail too, it sounds like a scam, I ask them to give me the detail of the services they are claiming and for the past 3 months nothing but they still call and send bills. I am about ready to report it to BBB of Knoxville.

so if i'm reading these post correctly you're saying this is a hospital bill collector from a local Knoxville, TN hospital, correct??? strange how I've NEVER even been to Knoxville, and have NO outstanding medical bills ANYWHERE and I recieve a call from them about once a week or so, they never leave a msg.........idk if it is a scam for sure, but it sure seems like one to me

just answer the phone and when they ask for you act confused and say that person does not live here. they said they would take the number off the account.

been calling me too.  unfortunately, my area code is 865 so i thought it was someone i knew.  not so! more wasted govt mins!

According to the BBB (Better Business Bureau) website 865-971-1377 belongs to St.Mary's Medical Center , a Mercy Hospital in Knoxville TN and while they remain unrated (F) because they care not to be rated there have been 4 complaints filed with various resolutions till finally St.Mary's Hospital stopped responding to the BBB inquiries. 1 ea : resolved complaint, 1 ea : resolved but customer still not satisfied and 2 ea : Business failed to respond to BBB inquiry.

Patient Financial Services.  A bill collector due to a bill I missed paying to Midsouth Pulmonary Specialists in Memphis, TN.  Valid debt, but they could do a better job identifying themselves!
