This automated message seemed kind of suspicious, it was a message regarding the "expiring warranty" on my car, I have never owned a new enough car to have a warranty so its probably a scam.

Always calling both my home and cell phone.  Stating this is my last call regarding auto warranty.  Press 1 to speak to a rep or 2 to be taken off their list.  How many times am I going to get this 'last call'???  Very annoying.

1st time I received this call about 1 month ago, the rep mentioned about my 'about to expire car warranty'.  I immediately asked back, 'which car?'.  The rep hanged up because could not give me any information about my car.  

Just now i got a 2nd call and they hanged up as soon I spoke.  I decided to google the number and found this site.

same as above .. what is the purpose of this site .. is anyone going to do something about this .. these flippin idiots keep callin my house & my flippin cell phone and when u call the # back it sounds like a fax machine ... i betta not find these flippin people!

They've called me at least 6 times within the last few months.  Last time they called, I recorded our conversation.  I asked to be put on their 'DO NOT CALL LIST'.  I talked to Desiere.  If they call agian, I can sue them for harassment.

call was a recording of a "warning" that my vehicle warranty was expiring. not surprisingly, my vehicle has no warranty to expire.

Got another call from this 866-209-7845, reminding me of the pending expiration of a non existant warranty. When I asked about how they knoew my number and car, "Daniel" hung up. Call was 2/27/09 at 5:26 PM.

I keep getting calls from this number at all hours of the day/night.  The phone company claims they cannot do anything about this.

I've been getting the same call for about a month now. It is not always this 866 number, but it is always about my car's warranty. The weird thing is I didn't even know I owned a car. I've catching the bus for a couple of years now. I wonder where I put this car that my extended warranty is expiring on.

I have been getting calls from this same no, and some others, for over 6 months. It is always the same, about the car warranty. I have asked, begged, told, and screamed at these people to stop calling me, to put me on their no call list. I have also called my phone service, and they say they can,t do anything but block it, after blocking, one number, they call with another number. What can we do?
Isn,t there a law that is about this?

If these people will give me a car I'll gladly purchase their warranty.

They called just now on an office number that is our doorbell - not a published extension.  Car warranty scam.

Spoke with someone named Kevin who told me my warranty was about to expire and he wanted me to give him the make and model of my car.  I asked him where he got my number (since it is not a valid extension) and he told me they work with all auto manufacturers.  At that point I asked him if maybe it was a scam since I don't own a car.  This took Kevin by surprise - he asked me to verify my phone number so he could add me to the do not call list.  I declined to do so.

Don't give these snakes any info - I don't know why this is such a prevalent scam lately but they are definitely not on the up-and-up.

I get calls about car warranty expiring and it has nothing to do with me or my car.

Got a call on my cell from this number. They did not leave voicemail. When I called it back I got a recording that the number is "disconnected or no longer in use".

don't intentionally answer any "866" area code calls to my cell since the few that I accidentally answered were ALL telemarketers (mostly car warranty); It would be nice to have a Do Not Call List that was more thoroughly enforced!

Received call on my cell at 2 PM today (3/2/09).  I didn't answer, and they didn't leave a message.  These calls are such an annoying nuisance, aren't they?!

i keep getting these stupid calls about the warranty as well and i have no car!! i checked to be sure that i am on the do not call registry. the best thing to do is call your attorney general's office and it's so easy to register for the do not call list!
