Called my cell. rang once and no message left

I let it go to the answering machine and they didn't leave a message.

Have signed up for no unsolicited calls to my clee phone but 866-215-1276 keeps calling.

Patient Financial Services regarding doctor or hospital bills.

This is a phishing attack posing as a collection branch of a local hospital. They refuse to send correspondence by mail in order to avoid mail fraud penalties. They refuse to give local number to verify who they say they are. Then they ask for checking account number and ATM pin, mother's maiden name, SSN.

They have left messages at my mother's stating, "This is not a fraud call, this is very important and HL is to return the call as soon as possible."  I told my family that the call was a fraud and somehow, they managed to get my home telephone number and keep leaving calls.  So, I reported them to an ID theft organization.  I have never answered their calls and do not intend to.

I dont get it this number called my cell as well and left msg saying it was a business matter please call.. NOT :(

I recvd a call from this  number 866-215-1276 left no msg and has called several times before...Since this number does not leave msg I will not call based on what I have read its a scam...

This is a legitimate business call.  The number matches the one given on my hospital statements.  The statements are authentic and match information given by my insurance company.  They were able to verify my information and account without requiring personal information beyond name and phone number.

second time they want my social security number or want me to call another number.    Fraud or telemarketer!

Female person called & did not id herself or company. Wanted to verify my name. Then stated this would be recorded for security reasons. She asked for my date of birth and social security number. I said no. She hung up.
I'm thinking credit fraud..

After reading from others, I did realize this number was the number matching my hospital statement customer service center. I neglected to inform them I had applied for Medicaid assistance and CICP.
I did so and they were kind.

I just got a call from (866) 215-1276. They did not leave a message.  I called the number back but couldn't understand what they said?  I asked 'what is the name of your company'?  She said unless you give us some information, we cannot help you?  I said 'what is the name of your company?'  Even though they were still on the phone, they did not answer.  I thought that was very odd.  I noticed someone here say something about medical bills?  I have no medical bills,

This is the billing office for Parker Adventist Hospital in Parker, CO. Same # on my bill now that I looked. I would image that they handle more than one medical group......

This company does business for Littleton Adventist Hospital as well.  Same number as on my statements.  Granted... not the easiest company to work with.  Just one of my many complaints about Littleton.  We just don't go there anymore.

Thank You for the info, I was concerned it was a Telemarketer. I looked at my bill and sure enough, it was for any of these following Hospitals:  Littleton Adventist, Porter, and Parker.  This is also a general collection agency for other buisnesses.  I'm glad I found this out, or I would have ignored all the calls and been late on payment.

This is a collection for local hospital bills. They contacted me in regards to a recent visit to the ER. Did not ask me for SSN, Acct information, or any other similar information. This was a legitimate call in regards to if and when I would pay back my hospital bill. The call is made by an automated system that responds to any input, be it your voice or answering system, and will start with "This is in regards to a business matter, please hold." Occasionally the pick up by the operator is fast, other times it isn't and will result in silence on your end or the call being hung up.

Must be a rogue company because my daughter used my phone number on her hospital paperwork and between medcaid and a payment arrangement through the hospital this bill is being paid and is not in collections.  also it is not on her credit report....SCAMMERS!  When I called them they said it was regarding Mrs. "Name".  I asked for the first name and they did not have it?  Then they said this was a confidential matter for the owner of this number.  I said I was the owner and again asked for a first name.  They hung up!
