- LoraThis is Pacific Pulmonary Systems. They exhibit very heavy handed collection techniques when insurance is a little slow in payment. They make DAILY harassing phone calls and want to exact their "pound of flesh" so to speak. Although I've had to use their equipment, I would rather suffer physically than endure their macchivellian, unprofessional collection techniques.

- KThey called me three times, all only to leave a message to call them back. Only on Second call did it say who: "Pacific Pulmonary Systems". Once when I did pick up on time they hung up on me (yesterday), and today when I did try to call back it said average wait time 5 minutes...I hung up as far as I am concerned it is a pishing attempt or long distance out of country forwared call that will leave me with a large phone bill.

- Robert Baker replies to GThe negative experiences others have reported is not mine. I think I do have an outstanding bill or two with them, but I always pay eventually, and they know that, and, so far as I know, they have never called me about that. They do call me every week to ask if I need any new equipment, usually on a Monday or Tuesday, as their regular delivery date in my neighborhood is on Thursdays. Their local representative is very responsive to my needs. In fact, I would go so far as to say that here in Albuquerque, they are one of the two best parts of the local health care system I deal with--the other is the EMTs from the city's department of emergency assistance. On a number of occasions when I have had problems learning how to deal with a new addition to my respiratory regime (I am on oxygen treatment 24/7) they always have responded with a live person within a hour of my call. But, when they call, I often can't get to my cell phone quickly enough, and if I call back, they often don't know what is happening because the person who called me is not the person I get when I call back--it goes to another person in their phone queue. So, then, if I need supplies, I call the local rep, and they always get if for me on the appropriate delivery date. They are supposed to get a signature for deliveries and pick up expended tanks, but once a couple months ago, I was asleep when they came acalling and did not respond to their shaking my door (I don't have a doorbell). So, instead, they left the tanks outside with the papers I was supposed to sign acknowledging receipt, accompanied by a handwritten note asking me to sign and return it to them, which I did. Perhaps local representatives in other communities are less responsible than they are here, but I must say I have nothing but good things to say about this company, and those who know me well know me as an irascible person who has negative things to say about almost everyone. But not about Pacific Pulmonary. I have had nothing but superb service from them.
