Called me too around 7pm in the evening. Each call there is no response. Highly irritating!

Called twice more. No response

It's Direct Tv they called me three times today this last time someone was there and said they are running a promotion for free installation and blah blah blah.  I am happy with my Dish Network.  Hopefully they do not call me again.

This number has been calling me two to three times every day for the past 4 days now. I generally don't answer numbers I'm not familiar with so I haven't answered and figured they'd leave a message but they haven't! And if this is in fact directv well I actually just got through setting up an installment date with them about a week ago so why would they be calling me to harass me some more??

Okay so I just got through calling them back and it is in fact "Directv" or at least they claim to be. I would be very leary of these people claiming to be with the company because at first it was a woman who sounded very unsure all she said was "Hello?" I then asked her if this was the 8662247289 number and she proceeded to tell me she was calling about a promotion that directv was offering.. It sounds like either a scam or a secondary company selling directv products I wouldn't give them any info! Especially considering they have been calling me two to three times a day the past 4 days in a row. Now is that promotion really THAT important?

direct tv; ridiculous cs.... call & hang up.... no interest in their service when they start bothering people like that...... stupid.

Called direct tv for a quote. Did not set up service. Called Dish and set up service. A couple of hours later an "unknown number" 508-475-1335 called me. The man asked me how much I had paid for my direct tv.  Confusing the two, I told him the price for my dish. He said that I had forgotten to pay the shipping and handling and without paying it I would not get service.  He demanded my credit card information.  I told him no I would not give it to him, that there was no shipping and handling, it was a direct install.  He pressured me several times.  I told him no repeatedly and also told him I did not believe he was from direct tv because on my called id it said unknown number.  When I told him I did not believe he was from direct tv he hung up on me. When I hung up and said the person was from direct tv my daughter said that we had ordered DISH not direct tv.  I was shocked to say the least.  How did someone get the information that I had just called direct tv only hours before? That was on the 7th of June. Yesterday, on the 11th of June, I got another call from a "toll free" number 866-224-7289. The connection was terrible and the woman identified herself from direct tv. She demanded to know whether I set up service or not.  I told her wouldn't she know if she worked for direct tv? She stammered and said ummm, no we are a different department, in promotions and we wouldn't know.  She pressured me again to answer whether we had set up service.  I told her I would not give her any information.  After I told her I would not give her any information she did not say have a nice day or anything like a professional representing a company--she HUNG UP ON ME. Just for an extra bit of information, my husband used to work for a call center handling direct tv calls. He could look up ANYONE"S service.  He handled both sales and technical support.  So I know that if someone is in sales that they can see a customer's account status.  I know that the "promotion department" ploy is garbage.  I have contacted direct tv to let them know there is some sort of breach in there system--either someone in their company is giving information to someone else or someone is hacking their system.  When you look up the 508 number on google it comes up as a company that calls people and represents themselves as multiple companies, usually one that the consumer just had contact with. This company then tries to sell something or get credit card information.  The combination of these two calls is highly suspect in my mind.

I had ordered direct tv recently and it had Been installed, this number called me 3 times in a row a few days after installation asking if I have ever ha direct tv before . I told him I was busy and to call back, then he asked for my name and I told him that if he was with direct tv then he wouldn't be asking for my name since I already have service, he said that they are not allowed to see the customers name . I hung up...

This number has called me several times in the last week. Today they called twice. They actually tried to slightly alter their number to get me to pick up. They changed it to +86 62247289.

This is a fraud attempt. The sad part is that Direct tv did not care...!!!!

They called my house phone, I just missed the call so I called the number back. It started immediately with this familiar hold music that I've heard when I've called back this other telescammer. They both even have the same accents. Hmmm...interesting. Anyways the heavily accent brat answers and answers as "Direct TV" I asked why they were calling and she said something before I cut her off and asked what country she was calling from and she said "North Carolina". Nevermind that I asked country, not state but whatever. I told her to take the number off her list and if they didn't I would trace the call the next time it comes in and will be contacting the United States Attorney (I'm just blowing smoke here, just acting like I have all this power lol) She said they will take the number off.

After I hung up I decided to call the number from my cell hone, this time I also had my identity/number blocked so they couldn't see the number who was calling like they did with the previous call. This call was different. First there was no rining, no hold music like the last call, just an immediate answer by a heavily indian accented male claiming to have the name "Jason" and claiming the company is "Satellite Sales". Literally he answered, "Hello this is Jason thank you for calling Satellite Sales". I just hung up on him I was on my way to work and didn't have time to probe him for info. I definitely will a different time though.

There's clearly something shady going on here.

I am being harassed by a Direct TV installer who is using this number. I called direct TV on  Sept 22 for a quote wouldn't give my SS# or credit card # but did give phone# after being promised I wouldn't be contacted. Now somebody name David is calling me and called me 4 times in less than 3 mins. hanging up each time, and then again an hour later. I called direct TV and they are useless I have sent an e-mail to their corporate in hopes they can make it stop. I'm just a little fearful that this person calling is dangerous and now Direct TV has giving a crazy person my contact info. Needless to say now I'm sticking with timewarner cable no matter what they charge because I have never received soliciting calls or been harassed by them.

Big scam! Don't give them any info... you will be sorry!

They called my cell phone asked for someone that doesn't even have my cell phone and then called my direct number at phone asking for the same damn person. Never said who they were. When I called them back,  the recording doesn't even say who they are. How creepy is that now a days? Alliance One is what they said when they answered.
