I got a call from these guys but I was asleep so they left a message with a control number.  They didn't identify themselves at all and when I tried to call them back I kept getting a busy signal.  Very shady.

I have been getting calls with different automated voices telling to call this number with a control number.  My caller ID lists other 866 numbers as the source.

its a place called "Plaza Associates" if you owe money to Sallie Mae, that's your culprit.

I am on a "Do Not Call List" and continue to receive messages on my cell phone: "This is a call for (name inserted).  If you are not (name inserted), please hang up and .................."

I always hang up at this point.  The names are different and are often undistinguishable.  How can I stop these calls?  They continue to awaken me and are very annoying as I am a disabled old woman and need my sleep!

Always Answer These Types Of Calls - They Have To Pay For Completed Call.  Keep Them Talking As Long As Possible With Fake Info So They Have To Pay More.

Got a message on my answering machine at 8:00 am this morning.      Same thing.....automated voice message.     Leaving a message regarding my mother.   UGH!  These types of calls are sooooooooo annoying and aggravating.    I have already filed complaints with my state's Attorney General's Office and the FCC regarding various types of other scamming collection calls.    My mother has nothing to do with Sallie Mae...........she's working with a lawyer right now with some issues with her home.   They need to quit this harrassment!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I get calls from this number nearly every week. They often begin with "This is a call for (some name I've never heard of and is not similar to mine except for the initial of the last name). If you are not (this person), please hang up and don't listen to the personal information."

This caller calls my cell phone with automated voice message "This call is for Herbert Max S." If you are not this person please hang up.Nothing close to my name and I have had my cell number for 10 years.I am on the no call list and will report it again.I noticed that the post on Feb,8" Here is the real deal" that post is Plaza Associates so if you contact them,then you are calling the ones harrassing you.I have been told to put their number in and send" STOP" that should take care of the problem on my cell phone.They have no reason to call me and use my min. on my cell to try to scam someone.Debt collectors can call so I GUESS THIS IS WHY THEY GET AWAY WITH IT.

Continually call! Always a recording wanting me to call them back........as if! If I REAL person would call I would tell him or her to insert their finger in a certain nasty part of their body and then remove the finger and smell of it, plain and simple. I do this with ALL telemarketers or "debt" collectors.
