I just started getting calls, both on my cell ph & office ph

I just received a call.  I didn't answer because I get so many calls from weird numbers.  They did not leave a message.

It's EOS CCA (a collection agency) calling about a supposed remaining balance on my old AT&T account.  As far as I knew, the account was paid and closed.  It would be nice if they would send the detail of the alleged balance in writing, instead of trying to pressure me into paying over the phone without even letting me review the reason for the supposed balance.
