left no message - 3 days in a row so far

no message, silence when answered, 1 call at night and 2 mid-morning

It is Verizon Wireless. I called them back and asked to be added to their do not call list. They abide with no issues.

This was a message from Cathy @ Financial Freedom offering to lower my credit card rates.  I was preapproved by a non-profit organization.  Funny I don't own any credit cards.

assumed it was spam and looks like it was. Man, is daily spam the future of cell phones now?

Called me at almost 9 PM ~ how rude! I didn't answer, no message left.

Unsolicited telemarketing call.  They call constantly and never leave a msg.  My phone number is on the do not call list.

Just remember one of the things that was passed during the Bush years was that when you do business with someone like Verizon (could be any business though) you automatically allow them to send your name to their business affiliates which bypasses the Do Not Call Registry. You are "allowed" to opt out on an individual basis. Kind of shoots the DNC Registry in the foot don't you think? So now when a telemarketer calls you have to answer even if it is to opt out and now they have a live body to try and deliver their spiel to.

Hmm. Calling everyday...no message.

2nd call in 2 days - no message left

Same here calling every day from 11-6PM sometimes and not leavign messages.  Sucks!

Verizon Wireless for account analysis

repeated calls, no message left on voicemail.  no idea who is calling, and can't find out.

It is Verizon. They never leave a message but you can confirm this by dialing the number back. Also, call 888-382-1222 to add your phone number to the national DO NOT CALL list. If they continue to call after 30 days you can file a complaint at www.donotcall.gov.

The tenth call in as many days and the times range from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.  I answered it once and no one responded, so I hung up.  A real nuisance, but I refuse to answer again.  My phone had already been added to the DO NOT CALL registry, so I'm not sure what's going on.  I'll give them 20 more days and if they persist, I'll file a complaint.

Got a call from this number 2 minutes ago on my land line (came up as "Unavailable" on caller ID); answered "Yes?", and after about 15 seconds of silence they hung up.  I called back, got a pre-recorded message as an answer... cut off, "Thank you for your interest in Verizo...".  Call automatically ended.  Tried again, this time got through to someone, answering that it was "Verizon Wireless".  I told him I wanted to know who was calling me from that number just to hang up on me, he said he had no idea, could not find my land line number in his data base, and tried to connect me to customer service (a different phone number than the one mentioned above).  I hung up in mid-transfer, have no time for this stupidity.

I have received several calls from phone number 866-229-3503.  (I don't answer the phone if I don't recognize the number.)

I am already on the do-not-call list.  Why do they still call??
