has anyone heard of ruth jones from nonscripted.tv? she has talked to me and wants to talk to producers 1st before i pay 200 for being a client.

yes, i've been contacted by a lady stating similar details etc.  did you get any other info?? she stated i had to pay $299 for a yr contract for my photos to producers etc. something doesnt add up here so im trying to do more research.

I put in an application online and received a call from a woman named Stacey Williams from nonscriptedtv asking me questions about said application and who I am. She asked if I would send her pictures to present to the casting directors and if they were interested in me then I'd have to pay somewhere between $200 to $300 for a "Lifetime Membership". I'm unsure of how legitimate this really is and would love more info

I talked to a gentlemen by the name of James Kay. I've wanted to be on ANTM for years and am very serious about it. I'm unsure though - The life membership is a fee which would be $299. Should I trust this? If someone is actually interested in representing you, wouldn't they have all the money they need? I mean, I'm really caught up about this because I want it so bad, but I don't exactly have $300 out of pocket. What am I supposed to do? Is this actually something I should pursue?

my husband received a call from stacey williams too! i've been looking and checking if this nonscripted tv is real! Because they dont show people who actually made the casting or any cooking competition.

Hey Megan, i've recently have been in contact with James Kay as well. I am also too wondering the legitimacy of the agency. I have until friday to make my final decision. 299 is a lot of money to throw at something i dont know much about. I just hope its all real and i get something really good out of this.

Have you recieved a call back or seen the profile they are supposed to set up for you yet since you have sent the money . I need to kno bc i dont want to be scammed and i dont have money to give away

As you will have noticed, these people post fake messages pretending to be "satisfied" customers of their own service. That in itself tells you what kind of shifty folks you're dealing with. Here's more:

Non Scripted TV has a web site at www.nonscripted.tv (IP address 216.105.88.132).
The domain registration uses Domains By Proxy anonymization to hide the names and contact information of those behind the scam, er, I mean web site – no reputable business site hides behind services like this. Just businesses that have something to hide.

The web site is hosted by endless.net, which appears to be a small (they only have a /24) hosting company out of Toronto (they, like all legitimate businesses have a non-anonymized domain registration).

Non Scripted TV's web site gives their mailing address as 1 Dundas Street West, Suite 2500, Toronto, Ontario, M5G 1Z3

Which turns out to be an office on the 25th floor of the Eaton Center. Pretty prestigious, no? Well, actually... no. It turns out to be an $89.00 "virtual office" as per http://www.regus.ca/virtual-office/canada/ontario/toronto (you'll find there are lots of "businesses" share the *exact* same address).

Non Scripted TV has no phone number listed on their web site. No surprise.

No one has ever been able to name a single person involved in this company. Not a one. And their web site doesn't name any of their owners/managers/employees either. (I'm using plurals very generously here — as if there's more than one person behind this.)

For a business that specializes in "reality" TV there seems to be a lot of non-reality associated with this outfit.
