Transworld Systems, a debt collection company.

I do not owe anyone money.  Someone used my phone number and I have told them many times that the person does not live here but they continue to call here.

so... these guys keep calling em demanding payment on a debt from 9 years ago (statute of limitations only allows 6 years) ... AND i paid that debt 7 years ago, it was a cleaning fee for an old apartment...

VERY VERY shady, trying to collect a debt that's already been paid AND doing it well out of the legally allowed time frame

Debt Collector..... a bill that was paid in full 8 months ago and the hospital didn't notify them. Weasels trying to put the pressure on me..... glad I called them back to clear it up.

This business is not BBC accredited.  It appears to be a dummy company that is used by another company in order to harrass and call more times than federal law allows.  It takes complaints to one's State Attorny Generals many of whom have filed law suits against both companies as the federal government does not enforce the laws concerning these types of companies.  Even though one does not owe the bill, has paid it off or otherwise resolved, they will continue to harrass even people who are on their death beds.

This is the third time that ths number has called me.  They are looking for one of my former neighbors.  I told them not to call me anymore.  It is not even for me.  They got very mad at me when I told them it was the third time they called me.

I didn't answer since I didn't recognize the number.  If it's debt collection I have no idea why they would be calling me.  I haven't owed anything to anybody for the past 25 or so years.  Caller ID displayed '800 Service'.

The FTC whose job it is to protect people from these sleazebags do absolutely nothing. In the old days and I'm talking 20-30 years ago there were no autodialers. Humans had to do the calling and it was easier to protect the consumer. These lowlifes can have have their computers make unlimted calls and their cost is the same for the long distance service. It cost them the same to make millions of calls a month as it does to make a 100,000. The phone companies should offer an option to block calls. No matter what you tell them they won't give up. They just harrass people into paying a bill and probably will still call after that even though you paid it. Even an unlisted number won't help. As soon as you apply for credit and put down your number they will get it again from the credit bureau reports. Only way for them not to get it is don't give the number to anyone. Try doing that, it's impossible. You will have to give to a state or government agency and it will eventually end up on your credit report.

I just a phone call from these people last night. They had my first name correct but not my last name, address or SS#, But they have my phone number. They asked me how I wanted to resolve a debt dispute. I told them that this is not me. I called back trying to find out more information and the guy yelled at me and hung up.

autimated call and would not say what it was for ..  Not to mention this is call at my place of work which is now illegal to call me at my work place to harrass .

I called them back to find out what this is in reference to.  The lady was rude and basically yelled at me to pay my bills.  I am a 20 yr old college student and have no debt.  When I asked for more information, the rude ass lady couldn't tell me exactly what it was for.  Who does she think she is?  She said she was a college student and still paid her bills.  Well, she must have wasted her money if she went to school to harass people to pay their bills.  What a loser!

Me too, I don't owe anyone.  I pay all my bills.  I get calls from this 2X a day.  I see the number and ignore it.  What a waste of time and effort on their part.

This number is from transworld collection.  When I answered this call, a recording came on that said if I don't want to listen to this recording hang up ???????? so I did.  Shortly thereafter at 10:45 PM they called me from 925-639-6580 so I believe, because I never answer calls from numbers I do not recognize, they were testing to see if I would answer my phone and talk with them this time.

Just ignore them.  Cost them more to keep callin then to pay anything. When they call you your credit is ruined anyway. Not much more they can do. If they sue just chap 13 them.
