I did get a message on my phone about a packet of information that needs my signature and my immediate attention.  I have been getting the same recording since October 2010

I have received phone calls stating that they need a package returned with my signature. 3 months later I received a call stating that they received a package with my name and social security number that needs some verification. I'm thinking it's a bill collector trying to get my attention.

got a call stating that this is a call from the offices of David Rostein that they have received a seris of documents with my name on it, however they found some issues and they need me to contact them before they proceed.....

Been receiving the same call for several months now

Received a call saying he "is from the Hamitlon Law Office, and I have not returned "a packet of information including [my] name and social security number." Pretty obviously a scam of some sort. Has happened a couple of times over the last year.

Been calling me about a packet of info that needs signed. Says hes from hamilton law office. I've never gotten a packet of info and will not be calling them back. Has anyone talked to them?

i recived a call from the hamilton law group and spoke to this really nice rep by the name of william stork.he help me out with my case and was very understanding. i do recomend him to everbody and please beware or a jousha brow ty.............

I received a msg from this number stating i took a payday loan out and they recited my information, THIS IS A SCAM BECAUSE I NEVER TOOK THE LOAN OUT BEFORE IN MY LIFE.  SCAM. SCAM. SCAM.

I received a call from " Financial Filing and Reporting" the rep. Was Joshua Brown. Very pushy and rude. He stated I had a payday loan and I was flagged for a civil suit. Wanted a settlement today. They are ridiculous and I am " sick and tired" of them calling. They have all my info.Help!!!

Not a scam. It's a collection agency for payday loans. They are valid but they go about the collection process all wrong.

This number keeps calling my work (small company with a switchboard and the operator has asked everyone - I told her probably me because I get the same message on my phone), it is an automated call "we have not received the package you have sent.........etc........They are calling all day! It's riduculas. No calls at work allowed.
Have also had Joshua Brown call work told him no calls at work allowed. But they keep calling.

Called my mobile number while I was at work. Looking for my sister. Hmmm... Gave me a case ref # and asked me to pass it on to her.

I received a voice mail at work about a case against me in Broward County Florida. The caller said that he worked for a law firm handling a case again me. I called the number left on my voice mail, 1-866-235-6815 x 718. I returned the called and got a recording indicating that I had reached Financial Filing and Reporting. I entered the extention number and requesed an email validation the debt and a request to remove my work number. I provided my home number. Then I decided to conduct a reverse look up of the number and the results indicated that the number did not belong to a business within the U.S. The I located the number for Financial Filing and Reporting in Coral Springs, Fl (954-340-9987), called it and it was hooked up to a fax machine. So, now when I get home I am going to have block the 1-866 number from my home/mobile numbers and notify my job that it's a bogus firm. Thanks for the comments.

Got the same threatening voicemail from this company today saying that they have a civil suit against me. They also called my mother. This is a scam. This companies buys (or steals) your personal information from other companies and then contacts you acting as though they are collecting a debt on behalf of the company when in reality they're just taking the money themselves. They are not a real debt collection company. If they were, you would have been contacted in writing first with details of the debt and the ability to dispute the debt. Please don't give this company any of your money. If you want to see if I'm right, just ask them to send you written proof of the debt - they'll get very angry and hang up.

I keep getting a call saying that I have paperwork that was sent to my home. I have no mail service to my home. I only have a PO Box. They have called my dad looking for me as well. They keep calling and I'm tired of it. My husband did speak with a William Shapiro and told him that he was going to have to investigate this further. Then about 15 minutes later a Daniel white called said he was from litigation and said that if I don't return his call he would assume that i'm not accepting responsibility. I'm tired of the calls. The sad part is that I know it is a scam and there is really no way to catch them because they use disposable phones. I did report it to the Federal Trade Commission. EVERYONE SHOULD DO THIS!! REPORT THEM TO THE FTC. The FTC has a website. I just googled FTC and it sent me a link to their website. SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM

These idiots have been calling me for months now as well from the "law offices of David Rothstein" and I have been identified as a person of interest in a very important matter. They also state that they have "received several documents" with my name on them and they need to verify who I am before they can proceed. Really???? Do these morons think that I am just going to hand over my identity with no proof that they are a legitimate firm? How in the hell do these people get our personal information? I even tried to call them back once and got nothing. No answer, not even a computer.

Don't, unless, of course you are absolutely desperate and don't mind working for an employer that's involved in fraud and deceit.
