Turned out it's Geico. They called to welcome me as a new customer. Also had several calls with no one on the other line from them.

Calls daily.  Never leaves a message.  Didn't know who was calling because only the number came up - and I didn't recognize it.  If no message is left, and the name doesn't come up, I just figure it's someone I don't need to talk to.  But after finding it on here, and seeing Geico referenced, that would make since to me because I am a new Geico customer.  But why wouldn't the name come up, or why wouldn't they leave a message??  Dixie

It was Geico for me too. They even sent me a text message for me to call them. Seemed like a waste of time to me.

recieved a call from  866 242 9896. hung up on number, i am the no call list they should not be calling me.

Like everyone else here, it was Geico calling to welcome me.  What kinda p*ssed me off was that they called on Christmas in the middle of my kids opening their presents!

It was Geico for me too...they said I had some documents coming in the mail for me to sign too...at least that's what it says in the voicemail they left.

that number has called me five times today so far and left no message.  i remembered this website and decided to check it out.  fortunately, I am a new geico customer, so if they call again i'll answer just to get it to stop.  this website is a great service.

They called me at 5 in the morning!

they called me at 7:30 in the morning today and I googled the number.

WHO IS CALLING FROM THIS NUMBER AND WHY, AND IF THEY WANA TALK TO ME EVEN I DONT ANSWER THEIR CALL, WHY DONT THEY LEAVE A MESSAGE?

I also received phone calls from  866-242-9896.  I am a new customer of GEICO so I'm going to assume that these calls are from GEICO.  They do not leave a message.

I appreciate the warm fuzzy and all, but this is a bit over the top. I don't need someone blowing up my phone while I'm at work, not even leaving a message, just to say Hey. Hopefully their reputation management people will read this thread.

called at 8am! fortunately i had my whitelist only feature on my phone turned on so i didnt hear it, as i think that's too early to be calling people. but when i saw it, i came here.  they did leave a message though and it was indeed a geico recording and i did sign up for them 2 weeks ago.  hopefully they wont call again.

They called at 6.45 am and again at 8.45 am!! Did not leave a message.
