Received a call from Gerald Keeler (left a msg. ) saying he's handling my account, he wanted to talk about ways to lower the bottom line. He did not introduce his company name, so I have no idea what "account" he's talking about nor what company he's actually from. Left a phone number to call him back on 866-248-7643 ext. 2024. The caller ID came in as 201-252-9111. I've been trying to search online to see what company this number is from, but unable to find anything so far.

I got a call from someone claiming to be Zoey Flemming from UPS and for me to call back at 866-248-7643 ext 2080 but didn't say who or what.

William Pickard called from 770-557-3001.

He claims to be from UPS.
He says our company is paying retail rates, and that we could save a little money if we switch to a different service.
He asked to call: 866-248-7643 x2040

The weird thing is that he called my personal cell phone, and he also had our main number.

I called UPS, and I wasn't able to establish that this is legit. I assume it's a scam.

Just got a call from Bryce my "New UPS Rep". When he wanted to ask about my business instead of giving me his phone number immediately, alarm bells went off. He did finally give me the number and that's why I'm here! He sounded really convincing, I'll give him that!

This came in on a 4-digit "spoofed" phone number that can't be called back.   I presume it's spoofed so I can't trace or block it.  He said he was "Ben" with UPS and he was calling to "check in" because it had been awhile.  Said he wanted to talk to the person who handles our UPS account.  I told him I'd have someone call him back.  I cannot find the phone number 866-248-7643 associated with UPS, in our account records, or anywhere on the Internet.

I chatted online with UPS and they verified that the number 866-248-7643 is related to one of their sales facilities.  I still don't trust anyone calling from a spoofed, 4-digit number, so I'm not going to take action and call him back.

Lady called, said she's Wendy from UPS and my new account rep. Gave this # 866-248-7643 x 2020 after asking some information. Didn't provide and hung up.

This is the UPS Inside Sales office. Its your account representative calling about your shipping.

They called me and took my account number and allowed some other company to use it. I'm know going through matters for ups charges of 8000.00  which I never spipped.

Brandon Alexander called claiming to be my new account manager at UPS. Only problem is I spoke with my account manager about a week ago and Mr. Alexander asked for the Office Manager that left 3 OM's ago. He asked a lot of questions he would of already had answers to. Sorry.

These calls are from legitimate sales reps at UPS that handle small to medium business. All accounts have more than 1 sales rep, they have an "outside rep" who is local in  your area and they have an inside rep that manages it from 1 or 3 offices within the US, they also have International reps for each account, They work as a team because there are so many ways to ship and legal requirements from other countries to ship out of the states that they need specialist in all fields as to not give wrong information. I hope this answers all the questions but my recommendation is to call them or to email UPS from their website at UPS.com to confirm that these are in fact the correct numbers and the reps. Believe me , it would be in your best interest to speak with them and ask how they can save on your current shipping rates. No harm no foul if you go to UPS.com and use the contact button to email and confirm. Received a call from a Kim Lewis, claiming to be from UPS. She wanted to talk to me about an account "I just opened."

Called saying they were our UPS rep and wanted to ask questions about the business.

I called UPS and they said this number is FRAUD

Call came in to our SE Wisconsin business on 4/24/19.  Guy said he was our new UPS rep, and wanted to discuss our business with him.  Everything our branch office does for shipping is handled through our corporate office, so I know it was a scam.  Told him I couldn't discuss anything right now, but that I would love to call him back.  He left me this number:  866-248-7643 ext 1132253

To Future Readers and Posters: Scammers seem to be using this calling script for either phishing or trying to promote some sort of shipping scam.

She IS a UPS employee, and the UPS REP in NYC explained the structure perfectly. This is a direct number to the UPS sales office.

Just got a call from this number from someone named Ernie claiming to be an account manager at UPS. The comments tell me all I need to know.
