I think this number is linked to 866-595-6803 (see comments posted for that number, too).  We have received calls from both of these numbers between 11:24 AM and 11:58 AM every day, starting on 4/25/09.  Voice messages left do not indicate what company they are calling for.  Sounds like a scam to me!!  BEWARE!

It's called phone spoofing.  This is mostly done by collection agencies.  
They pretend to be someone else and getting enough info from you to create
an account.  Next thing you will get is a paper threat to pay something in
full or go to court.  Some of us have been dealing with these bottom
feeders for months and years.  We have programs that track and trace these
numbers and then match them to the time and dates with the phone company.
None have matched the actual caller.  They also spoof themselves as your
neighbors. Advice: take your bill or some proof to the phone provider and
have them trace.  If you owe money or have ever in the past, you can bet
places like these will be faking themselves as someone else to get the
data they need. Type:"phone spoofing" in your browser or here's a site for

should be aware of these activities for their own protection. Also see:

Have been receiving calls from this number for two weeks, day and evening. I've called back several times and each time I get a recorded message thanking me for calling Discover Card Services. Message continues and  states, "to speak to an account manager press #1." If you do not press the number 1 the recording thanks you for calling Discover Card and disconnects. I don't have a Discover Card and do not want one.

Numerous calls from this number and others. Today I pressed redial and learned it was a marketing call from Discover Card.

called at least 6 times in one day, after repeatedly being told this person they are asking for will not be home for another week.

Today, when I attempted to redial, the call went back to a recording that said, "Looking for live talk from exciting people like you? Call 1-800 blah blah blah ..."

It used to go back to Discover Card, and I think it's still connected to Discover.

I had been receiving calls from this number several months ago. A recording message was left saying thanks for using your Discover Card. I have never had a Discover Card, nor have I ever applied for one.

The calls did stop.

This morning I received a call from them again. I did not answer and this time they did not leve a message.

This is Discover! It is no one else. I am dropping them tomorrow! Ten phone calls per day,  at least, and none related to a late bill. I am also reporting them to the State of Ca for violating the do not call list.

Discover Card customer service wanting to "ensure I get the most from the benefits Discover Card has to offer."  Idiots.  Told them to knock it off, before I take my business elsewhere.

866-667-6462 This number is associated as well.  They are spoof calls from people trying to get you for an account of theirs.  If you owe anyone money for anything they will try to mediate for you.  Don't give them any information about yourself.

Law Office of Joe Pezzuto is not an actual law office. It's a game of semantics to scare debtors. They are a collection agency. "The Law Office of Joe Pezzuto" is located in a plaza across a Burger King. If you're thinking about pressing legal matters against them, you're not alone. Plenty of people across the states have pressed legal actions against them.
