I received this call while on another call, when I tried calling back could not get through.

Same thing happened to me. It says number not in service.

I get a call from this number on my work line constantly.  I never pick up. If it's that important they will leave me a message and they never have.

I get calls every single day from this #, I answer and they hang up!!

Who are these people no one answers

I get multiple calls from this # daily, and today I learned who it is!  It is the same company that SPAMS me and will not remove me from their mailing list!!

and they spam me daily as well!  They refuse to remove me from their database, to stop calling me, or stop spamming me.  It is time to report them to the FCC!

They just called and asked for my boss by his proper first name.  That was the first clue it was a sales call.

They said they would call back at another time.

I get calls from this number at work all the time. As soon as I identify myself, they hang up.

I have a program set to hang up on them after the first ring.  Today they called at 4.19, 4.30, 4.39, 4348, 4.56, 5.05, 5.12, 5.19, 5.28, 5.47, and 5.56.  I suppose they are going to keep calling into the night.

If this is Nuance, then this might explain the call to me. They are a large world wide software company. I did purchase one of their products and have recently renewed a license. Just as I get annoying msgs from their software that I use, they're probably telemarketing for additional sales.

6/20/14 ~ Nothing appears to have changed with the behavior of this Caller.  For OVER ONE YEAR, Phone Number (1-866-260-2216) has continued to Call our home phone number.  Similar to what everyone else has said, they listen for a few seconds (though I can hear background noise) and after 3-4 seconds they hang up.  They have Never Spoke a word, it sounds like they simply want to simply harass because the way they hang up sounds like they are angry and they enjoy (almost) slamming the phone down.  It always leaves the impression it's a harassment call.  If there is any Legal way to stop either the Company or People behind these Calls, then it is "PAST DUE" Time to Do So.  (2) We also have received phone calls for over the same length of time, however in this case there is NO Phone Number Available.  It just says unknown caller.  When we answer we always get a Caller from out of the Country who says they are calling about our Microsoft Windows on our Computer and that we need their Services to disinfect our Computer before it ruins our Computer(s).  The Fee to correct the Windows is something like $250.00 and of coarse they want a Credit Card Number.  A Word of warning, Clearly this is a Hoax, but these people will NEVER STOP CALLING YOU.  ONCE THEY START, THERE IS JUST ABOUT NOTHING YOU CAN SAY TO THEM THAT WILL STOP THEM FROM CONTINUING TO PHONE YOU OVER AND OVER AGAIN ATTEMPTING TO GET YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER AND TRAP YOU IN THEIR HOAX AND OBTAIN YOUR MONEY....  THESE ARE RUTHLESS PEOPLE WITH RUTHLESS INTENTIONS!!!    

To stop them, tell them: 1) You HATE Microsoft and will never use their products & 2) You use Apple/Mac. Good Luck!

Have received several calls from this number, some as early as shortly after 8 AM.  There is never any message left.  I called back, could not understand name of company.  Listened to menu, and was instructed to press numeral 1 to be put on the do-not-call list.  Recorded voice reported I was now on that list.  Will wait and see.
