It's Dish Network.

Keep getting automated call telling me if i don't pay will turn off service,  but I do not have an account with dish network--I have cable and am paid up.  Calls are annoying.

I am getting calls from this number, supposedly from Dish Network saying my account is past due. I just checked my bank account and my Dish account and I am not past due.  Must be a scam.

Load of Crap, I don't even have a Dish...keep telling me I am past due and go to thier "Bogus" web site

A pop-up came up on my tv screen with this number.  I callled the number, explained that I didn't have dish service and strangely I  was transferred to a legitimate Dish rep.  The transfer voice said that the number was not associated with Dish.  This is a scam!!!!!!  It could be giving the real Dish provider a bad name.

How do you get rid of the number.  Tried of getting it.

my elderly mother-in-law has been frightened by this number flashing on her television screen with the message that her service has not been paid and will be cut off.  She is in assisted living facility and does not have her own cable bill.

Report it to management of her facility. She is likely not the only resident getting this number flashing on her television.

I getting pop ups on my dish, saying that I need to call this number or go on my account which I cant access. The number it wants me to call is ±(816)-263-1911

It is a scam.  I called the number because I don't have a dish network account and they claimed I owed $99.  All they did was try to fish more information out of me instead of trying to resolve it.

This popup showed even though we are on auto pay. I called the true dish number and the rep walled me through removing it. He verified my account was current and told me to click on ok, and I may need to do that 3 times. He said it is a glitch. After clicking ok 3 times I rebooted the receiver and all was good.

It is not a "glitch".  It was javascript made to look like you owe money just like the javascript where it says that you need to call Microsoft.  Get an adblocker and start using it.

The message that appears on your TV screen is from Dish and they have been doing this for more than a decade. Many service providers use an auto update system to combat pirated receivers where people use someone's account to activate it.

Common sense is if you have Dish service, check your account. If you don't then you shouldn't be able to see it on your TV's screen unless you are using a pirated receiver.

I just paid my Dish bill with a real person in Customer Service... so I KNOW I do not owe money on my account.  First of all, Dish bills in advance... meaning that when you pay your bill, the time period you are paying for has not started yet... it begins AFTER you pay the monthly bill.  So it is next to impossible to have an overdue balance.  Second, I never answer calls when I don't recognize the number.  It doesn't matter what the area code or the first 3 digits are... it's been reported that scammers are using phone numbers and area codes that are found in your area... in an attempt to fool you and make you think you are safe and then you accept the call.  Apparently, that is what this current Dish message is... a scam and/or phishing.
