We have received 6 or 7 calls from 866-265-7927 stating only that it is imperative that we call back but not giving any details about what the call is about.  Our number is on the "no-call" list so we are really perturbed.

I have received many calls from this number. When it comes up on my caller id, it says number unavailable.  After many times of calling they finally left a message saying that is was at the utmost importance that they get ahold of me.  I refuse to answer or call back any number that will not show up on my caller id.

I have received 2 calls from 1-866-265-7927 each stating that I should call Jim Lynch and that it imperitave that I call him or his associate.  Jim Lynch's associate  answered but refused to relate the nature of the call.  He asked if I knew a certain person or a number to reach the person.  I said I didn't have a number.  The associate said he would keep calling until he got in touch with the name he asked about.

I had a called from Jim Lynch also.  Said it was important that I call back today.  Nothing registered on my caller ID though....kinda weird. Who is this guy?

Jim Lynch and company keep calling stating that they have an important message and that I should call him or his associate.  Who is Jim Lynch and what right does he have to imply threats and urgency in his voice without identifying what he does or what he is calling about?

Jim Lynch and his company called me again asking for my boyfriend's number.  This time I gave it to them.  My boyfriend called the company and asked why they needed his information, and they said they were with Cingular and that he needed to pay his balance of $170 over the phone by credit card right then.  He said he didn't feel comfortable doing this and that he would pay it online, and they said for some reason it was not available online and that he had to pay it right then.  When he refused, they got mad, saying that it would be reported on his credit.  

This is a huge scam.

I too have received messages telling me to call this number.  The most recent message also said to call Jim Lynch.  I called back because the messages were really annoying me.  I found out that the number belongs to CCA, a collection agency in Dallas.  She looked up my phone number and said there was no record of someone calling from their agency and that I should have not received a call since the account was closed out of their system (it was the person who had the number before me that they were looking for).  I mentioned that the most recent message said to ask for Jim Lynch and she said that she would look into it.

We are getting these calls only a Richard wants a call back.  When I called back, the call was for a family member who lives and has lived away for 3 years.  All I asked was what company and was told they would not tell me even the company.  Who are these rude people????

I keep getting a call from this number and they are looking for a Tammie Phillips. I have had this number for over two years and just recently started getting them. I have no idea who tammie Phillips is.

I have been getting the same type of calls from someone named Jim Lynch.  I tried calling back, but no one answered--even after 20 rings.  If he was legitimate, I would think that there would be an answering service or somewhere to leave a message, or to have the call forwarded.  All of my phone numbers are on the "Do Not Call" list, so I do hope that someone catches up with this guy.  He may be trying to use people's numbers for out of country calls, or possibly an identity theft scam.

Just been getting calls(2)as well, they say this is not a solication call or something else call slips my mind at the moment, saying I need to call back in one business day for important information, the call never gave me a name. So i thought to look it up on the internet and found this.

I'm also on the no call list.

Details same as described above, except I did get someone to answer.  I asked what kind of business it was.  He told me it was the CCA Business Center and that they handle calls for nine businesses.  Thus, he couldn't tell me who/what Jim Lynch was.

same as I have read, they call say it's urgent and when you call back they give no info unless you give you tele #.
I told them I was turning them in, which I did, to the States AG they said go ahead.

I got the call from this number saying that they are CCA agency from dallas... and I hadn't paid my ATT wireless bill for 65 dollars... and as such, ATT has handed it over to them. Its a total scam: I verified my account with ATT and they haven't forwarded anything to a collection agency.
STAY AWAY FROM IT. They will ask ur credit card or bank account information. it's a total SCAM

They cal about 3 times aweek and never say who they are calling but just that it is urgent that I return their call.  I don't return any calls that never say the person that they are trying to reach, but these aclls are driving me nuts. What can I do? Any suggestions. I ahve no credit problems.

I got a call from this number, it's CCA out of Dallas, a collection firm. When I asked for a physical address the lady refused to give me the information. She asked that I make arrangements to pay a $205.00 bill from Cingular from a phone that was stolen. When I said I would send them payments she refused, saying they would only take payments if I gave them my bank account information, like that's going to happen. I finally got a physical address of CCA Dallas 4099 MCEwan Dallas, TX. 75244. Don't know if it's legit but I'm going to start sending $1.00 checks.

I did not receive a call from this number, I did however get a collection notice in the mail with this toll free number listed.  On the bill it has no name listed, only an address.  When I called they said they were looking for Todd Box.  The bill was for over $2,000.

It is only a phone. If you don't like whos calling just hang up. If it is you they are looking for then pay your bills on time. CCA called me and I found out about a bill I owed. I gave them my cc number they took only what was owed and I haven't heard from them since!

A guy by the name of Shawn called my number asking for my father, whom has never lived in the town that I live in.  When I asked what he was calling about and how he tied my number with my fathers, he stated: it was an important business matter and my fathers social security number was tied to my phone number. So my father called and it was a decoy social security number, not so cool. Anyway I think I am going to start calling them a couple of times a day and see if they will give their soc. sec to me!  Idiots!!!
