Called a family member at work. We did not contact anyone about insurance.Person who called said his name was Robert Romaniak wants us to call him back.

Called and left msg for my daughter about property she has for sale.  Said was United Guarantee Insurance and that they represented her mortgage company.  Individual did not leave a last name.

Republic Mortgage Insurance called my family members job for the 2nd time. They are not allowed to receive personal calls at work. The boss is not happy.  We did not contact this company or Robert Romaniak. My family member is afraid he will loose his job if this person calls again. We are going to contact the BBB.

Company called me about PMI insurance. Told them I didn't have any and then began asking questions about my mortgage. Referred them to my attorney.

The telephone number is for NIA Consulting.  NIA is a financial services firm for the insurance industry.  NIA conducts third party forensic audits for mostly PMI providers and lenders.  NIA is trying to ensure that loan brokers, title agents, and other parties involved in a transaction act in an appropriate manner and the borrower in the transaction is/was treated in a fair manner.

Received a call at my work today from this company. They said they represent our the PMI company on our mortgage and were calling to see if we were being treated fairly by our lender. I did not answer any questions since I'm at work and offered to return their call. They provided all of their contact information without hesitation.

They are listed as NIACO.COM. Caller left message saying not selling or collecting anything, just wanted to ask questions about our property. Didn't leave company name. Didn't leave his name. I called the number to see who answered and it was a voicemal for 'Jeremy' No company name given on the message which is unusual.Smells like scamsters to me.

NIA Consulting is a legitimate company that engages in quality control mortgage loan reviews.  If you are getting a call from an NIA Consulting representative, they are trying to ensure your loan was done correctly and accurately.  The people who post negative comments about 866-265-9382 and NIA Consulting should do some research before jumping to conclusions.  

"Jeremy Dees" called me 2x from 970.375.0138 (ID)leaving 866. 265.9382 as a callback.     Saying he represented 3rd party PMI on QC issues w mortgages.  B4 I returned the call,  he called my CPA asking to release tax return info.  Isn't that a breach of confidentiality of information act?? Wisely, my tax pro called me immediately.  The end run hardly seems on the up & up. My legal team gets first crack this week.

When you applied for your loan, the documents you signed stated that the information you provided (including employment/income, residency, assets, etc.) could be verified and re-verified as part of a quality control audit.  That's what this is.  The caller is trying to verify the information from your loan file to ensure it is accurate, and that the loan officer did not change any of the information you provided in order to push the loan through.
