Have started receiving calls from this number several times a day, 5 calls yesterday alone.  They hang up as soon as the answering machine picks up.  No message left.

Called them back this was ACT collections.

Constantly receiving calls at all hours of day and weekends.

Tired of these calls...cannot resolve issue by phone...

Hey I answer and tell them to hold on 1 minute let me get the person they are asking for. Then say hey don't hang up it may take a few mins to get them. Then place,the call on speaker and see how long the dumbass hangs on ! Ha ha lol it's fun as hell to screw back with them and waist their time, they don't understand they are calling wrong number. So it's fun to getn back !

Calls all day long and leaves usually about 3 messages on my VM each day where the caller is repeating my name over and over pretending that they think I have answered or something? "Julie......hello, Julie? Juiuulllieee?....hello?"  and eventually hangs up. Always the same kinds of messages, more than once a day. I plan to contact an attorney to find out if this constitutes harassment under the FDCPA. There should only be one VM message per day.

They call my cell phone every two hours starting at 8 am.  They never leave a message, I would be more than willing to call them back if they would leave a message, but if they won't leave a message, then I'm not going to call them back.

I keep getting calls from these people on my cell.  They start at 8 am and call almost every hour.  I do not answer 800 numbers.  They have so far only left 1 message in a week and he just says my name, nothing else... If you cannot leave a proper message and inform me of the reason for the call, then I will not call you back or pick up the phone.  Period!

I just called the number back and they picked up saying, "Thank you for holding this is Miss Rawlings, How may I help you"  as if I had been holding for someone.  No information as to who they are. No menu or anything.

I called back again she said "ACT can I have your home phone number"  Um no I just called back a random 800 number and you expect me to give you my #.  NOPE.  And then she asked for my name and personal information.  SHADY.

If you ever owed a debt with QVC or QCard the ACT Collection Agency will contact you for a settlement pay.

This party calls my husbands cell 5 or 6 times a day..How do I get it to stop?

Next time they call have your husband answer.  If he owes them money, pay it.  If he doesn't owe them money ask them to stop calling.  If he doesn't owe them money but they say he does, make them prove it.

Contact your husband's cell provider.  Find out if Call Blocking is available.

Or, if you have plenty of unused minutes, put the pest's phone number in his contacts list and assign it the ring tone "no ring".  That will send the calls straight to voicemail without the phone ringing.  It won't stop the calls but it will make them easier to ignore.

I have a brand new phne i have had it for 2weeks maybe..since day 1 i have been gettin 5+ calls from these people everyday.i have no idea what its for.and when you call backthey say youre not in the system..i obviously am if u call me everyday!

for more than a week, this number have called a few times a day. when i received it, no response at all. i have no clue who they are, why they called, or who they liked to speak with. it's a total waste.

Calls every two hours, no messages.

all caller ID showed was ADVANCED CALLCEN, that's all it could fit, I guess.

I keep getting calls and the caller id saus united states. That's all well and good but I keep getting the same messages some of you do when I get messages at all. They say my name multiple times or I get an automated thingsaying that they havent connwected me yet. Never a message stating exactly who they are or why  they are calling me. No way I'm calling back.
